Yes, you’re about fifteen minutes from Stuttgart’s center, but that’s actually a blessing – you get the quiet residential vibe of Plieningen without the city noise, plus parking that doesn’t cost a fortune or require a PhD in spatial reasoning to navigate. The breakfast spread isn’t trying to impress Instagram, but it’s substantial and fresh, with proper German bread and local touches that feel authentic rather than performed. And here’s something I genuinely appreciated: the reception desk had actual local recommendations written on cards, not just generic tourist trap suggestions. They pointed me toward a fantastic bakery just down the street that I never would have found otherwise. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you realize this place succeeds by doing everything competently rather than chasing trendy amenities that break after six months.   The room was very nice, large, comfortable, and a bit old-school. It was fairly simple to get into and back from the city center using the bus and the U-Bahn. Friendly and helpful reception!

  The front desk reception let me check in a little early. There was parking close to the front door. The breakfast buffet was varied and had many good items. A little more fresh fruit would have been great.

  Very friendly staff. Nice room and bath. 3 Windows can be opened. Nice terrace, good Espresso. We haven't booked with breakfast so i can't tell more about it. 2 busstations and 3 good restaurants can be reached within 1 to 5 minutes of walk. The bus takes 7 minutes to the airport, busstation, underground and fair. From there you need another 25 minutes by underground into the city.
  
  What could be improved: We found nothing to complain!!! A rearly nice weekend at a nice place. The World BBQ Championship was great as well…
