Honestly, when I first walked into the Aloft Stuttgart on Heilbronner Straße, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s right in the thick of Stuttgart-Mitte, and you know how some city center hotels can feel pretty sterile. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. The lobby hits you with this cool, modern vibe that’s way more relaxed than your typical business hotel, and there’s always some decent music playing (not the usual elevator jazz, thank god).

What really won me over though was how they’ve managed to make a 4-star place feel genuinely comfortable without trying too hard. The rooms are smart – not huge, but cleverly designed with these platform beds that are actually pretty great to sleep on, and the lighting is spot-on for both working and winding down. You’ll notice the soundproofing is solid too, which matters because Heilbronner Straße can get busy during the day with all the traffic heading toward the train station. The shower pressure is fantastic (seriously, it’s the little things), and I loved that they have those grab-and-go snacks in the lobby when you’re rushing out to catch the S-Bahn.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot – close enough to walk to Königstraße for shopping or the Staatsoper if you’re feeling cultured, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually get some peace. The staff genuinely seems to know the area well; they pointed me toward this great little coffee spot on Urbanstraße that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking can be a bit of a headache (welcome to Stuttgart), but they’ve got a garage situation figured out, even if it’s not the cheapest. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me – it’s one of those places that just works without any major complaints, though I will say the breakfast could use a bit more variety if you’re staying multiple days. But honestly, with all the good bakeries within a five-minute walk, that’s hardly a dealbreaker.

Hotel in Stuttgart booking should be done early, especially during major auto shows when the city hosts internationally significant automotive events and exhibitions.

  Clean and spacious enough room, excellent and large bed. As we were travelling with hand luggage only, appreciated the washing machine and dryer available free of charge.
  
  The hotel entrance and the shopping center door are literally 5 meters away from each other. Very convenient. Also there are some nice restaurants in the neighborhood that you can visit on Sunday in case you do not fancy a walk or short uber ride to the city center.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast was more or less the same every morning and the service was a bit slow (there were quite a lot of people at the same time and the food kept running out).
  
  On the departure day, we were given rather modest set to go with us (considering the price paid and as they were not able to send us off with any of the items we originally requested from the daily service). Agree that we had a very early start but it was still a bit disappointing.

  Location was good – quiet outlook and close to large shopping centre.
  We did not partake of breakfast supplied by the hotel because it was too expensive for our needs.

  Good location, close to Stuttgart Banhof within walking distance if you need, about 15 minutes walk or 5 min by taxi. Parking lot attached to the hotel that belongs to a mall with special hotel guest fee ($25/day). Very convenient to whom uses car.
  
  What could be improved: Room had a rumbling noise, probably coming from AC unit. This was downside of our stay. Maybe just a bad lucky with the room.

  The overall aesthetic of the place it’s not too formal or too serious!
  
  What could be improved: The fact that the televisions are not smart tv with the option for chrome cast etc in this generation that’s a bit backward lol. throw in some good smart tv’s with apps like Netflix and prime and you’re good to go!
