You know what struck me first about Aparthotel Cosy? The name actually fits – and I mean that in the best way possible. I’ve stayed at plenty of places that promise “cosy” and deliver cramped, but this spot on Neckarstraße genuinely nails that sweet spot between homey and polished. The building itself has this understated charm that feels very Stuttgart-Ost, if you know the neighborhood – not trying too hard, just solid and welcoming.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Stuttgart rather than just visiting it. Neckarstraße runs right through one of those areas where actual locals go about their daily business, so you’ll find yourself walking past proper German bakeries and corner shops instead of tourist traps. I actually ended up at the same café three mornings in a row because it was just… there, you know? Two blocks away and full of people reading newspapers in German. The aparthotel format works really well here too – having a proper kitchenette meant I could grab fresh stuff from the market and actually use it, which made the whole stay feel less temporary.

What really won me over though was how they handle the details. Check-in was smooth (they actually remembered my name the next day), the wifi didn’t cut out every twenty minutes like some places, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure was fantastic. Sometimes it’s the simple things. The rooms strike that balance between hotel polish and apartment practicality, so you get daily housekeeping but also space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. I mean, the decor won’t win any design awards, but it’s thoughtful and uncluttered in a way that actually helps you relax. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town, but they sort that out for you, which honestly saved me a lot of wandering around with my rental car. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not flashy luxury, but it delivers on pretty much everything you’d actually want from a stay in Stuttgart.

  Nice, moderne and clean. Close to the city, nice café on the Ground floor. Everything was up to standard. The staff was helpful, and kept it clean and tidy while we were there. Easy access as well.
  
  What could be improved: It was a bit small for a family of 4. Mostly because there were only 2 kitchen chairs, and the kitchen had no oven. However, the stay was comfortable, we made dinner a few nights.

  The building is modern and clean. The apartment is spacious… Kitchen well prepared. Bathroom size is good. Elevator… secure entrance. Clean. The host is very flexible and the people around the place were very kind and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Yes it does have an AC but only at the bedroom side and for me it was not doing a great job. It felt a bit warm.
