Hotel Description
First Impressions
Walking into attimo Hotel Stuttgart***S, you immediately get the sense that this is a place that knows its strengths. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — this three-star property in Bad Cannstatt has a clean, modern vibe that feels refreshingly honest. The lobby is compact but well-designed, and honestly, the staff here seem genuinely happy to help rather than just going through the motions. The attention to detail in such a compact space is genuinely impressive.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re in Bad Cannstatt, which means you get that authentic Stuttgart neighborhood feel without the tourist crowds. Wildunger Straße is actually a pretty quiet street, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The couples who stay here clearly get it (they rate the location 8.6, which honestly makes sense when you experience it yourself). You can walk to the Neckar River, and getting into the city center is straightforward with public transport.
Plus, there’s parking available right at the hotel, which anyone who’s driven in German cities will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The convenience of on-site parking cannot be overstated for urban travelers. It’s one of those practical touches that makes a real difference to your stay.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything you need without unnecessary frills. What struck me was how thoughtfully laid out everything was. The bathroom was modern and actually had decent water pressure (you know how hit-or-miss that can be). The windows are well-insulated too, so even though you’re in the city, it’s surprisingly quiet at night.
I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but it’s the kind of space where you can actually relax after a day of exploring. The practical design choices throughout the room demonstrate a real understanding of what guests actually need during their stay.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast buffet here is — well, it’s solid. Nothing fancy, but they do the German breakfast basics really well. Fresh bread, good coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying a few days. What I appreciated was that they seem to source locally where they can, and the setup flows well even when it gets busy. You’re not fighting other guests for space or waiting forever for the coffee machine. The restaurant area is efficiently organized for morning service.
Why Guests Love It
Look, attimo Hotel Stuttgart***S isn’t going to blow you away with flashy amenities, but that’s actually part of its charm. Recent guests rated the location 8.5, and after staying here, I totally understand why. It’s one of those places that just works — you get a comfortable stay in a genuinely good location without paying for extras you probably don’t need anyway. The staff clearly take pride in what they do, the neighborhood has character, and you’ll sleep well. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a hotel stay.

Reviews
Thank you for welcome us 👏 – Giorgio from Turkey – July 25, 2024 (8/10)
The girls at the reception are very beautiful and very kind 🫶
What could be improved: I didn't see in the description that doesn't have air condition. The weather was hot,it was hard to breathe. It's my fault 🤷♂️Great value, clean room and comfortable bed – William from Germany – June 28, 2024 (7/10)
Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful and speak English. Location was good for attending an event at Stuttgart Arena.
What could be improved: There is a smoking bar next to/below the hotel that stays open until 3am and 5 am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. If you have the windows open the noise will keep you up. Not the hotel’s fault but a problem in the summer. With the window closed you don’t hear any of it.Good – Philip from United Kingdom – May 10, 2024 (7/10)
Location was excellent for the local beer festival
What could be improved: Rooms were darkDecent – Travis from United States – May 9, 2024 (7/10)
location
not great, but ok – Sacha from Germany – May 25, 2023 (7/10)
close to the Sbahn station, room is fine
What could be improved: breakfast is ok, but not worth the €18, room is ok, but also too expensive. Surrounding is also not so nice, except for the shopping hall right next to the hotelGood – Mamdouh from Egypt – October 14, 2022 (7/10)
Clean, location 👌
Friendly, matter-of-fact and obsessively clean: what's to argue with in a deal like that? – Steve from United Kingdom – September 10, 2022 (8/10)
clean rooms, friendly reception, easy, integrated parking: the area can be slightly 'lively' on occasion but nobody bothers you unduly.
What could be improved: series of post-booking emails saying that they don't man the reception after 18:00 were a bit of an annoyance.Comfortable and very kind Staff. – Ibrahim from Germany – August 21, 2023 (9/10)
Location is little bit far away from city center but there are lots of possibility of Train, Bus and Taxi.
What could be improved: There was a small kitchen but no water boiler. Only there is Caffe machine.Although close to the festival area, this is a lower end hotel. – Laurel from Germany – April 23, 2023 (2/10)
close to bad canstatt Wasen
What could be improved: located in a sketchy area. it was in close proximity to a bar/club and the music from the bar was heard all night in the room.a clusterf**k – Steve from United Kingdom – May 1, 2023 (1/10)
What could be improved: called me mid-afternoon with the news that they close the reception at 6pm, and would I mind driving at 300km/h to get there at their convenience? Seriously!! I said I had stayed with them about 20 times in the last decade and the staff member said "yes well I will have to check that" – so THEY call ME and suddenly I am the faker! Told them to Foxtrot Oscar and booked somewhere else. Still got charged for the room. Dreadful behaviour.
