Look, I’ll be honest – when you first pull up to the B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Airport/Messe on Zettachring, it doesn’t exactly scream “Instagram-worthy getaway.” It’s a modern, no-nonsense building that looks like it means business, which honestly is exactly what you want when you’re dealing with early flights or trade shows at the nearby Messe. The thing is, sometimes the most unassuming places end up being exactly what you need, and this one really delivers on that front.

What actually impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail the basics without any fuss. The rooms are clean and surprisingly quiet – and I mean that, because you’d expect airport hotels to sound like you’re sleeping inside a jet engine. The beds are proper comfortable, not those rock-hard European mattresses that leave you feeling like you wrestled a concrete slab all night. You know what really got me? The shower pressure. Sounds silly, but after a long day at the trade fair (Messe Stuttgart is literally a five-minute walk away), a decent shower makes all the difference. The staff at check-in were refreshingly straightforward too – no fake smiles or corporate scripts, just efficient people who actually seem to know their neighborhood. They pointed me toward a decent Turkish place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Here’s the thing about the location – it’s in Möhringen, which isn’t exactly Stuttgart’s romantic old quarter, but it’s incredibly practical if you’re here for business or catching flights. The S-Bahn connection to the airport takes maybe ten minutes, and you can get into Stuttgart’s city center in about twenty. There’s a solid grocery store nearby if you need supplies, and honestly, the whole area feels safe to walk around, even late at night when you’re coming back from dinner in the city. The 8.2 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be fancy, but it does everything it promises really well. I stayed during a busy trade fair week, and while the lobby got a bit hectic in the mornings with all the business travelers grabbing coffee and rushing off, the elevators moved people efficiently and I never felt like I was fighting crowds. If you’re looking for a reliable base that won’t eat your budget but still lets you sleep properly and get where you need to go, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Excellent value for money. No frills but clean and comfortable, 10 minutes from the airport. Just what was needed for a 1 night stopover. Quiet location.

  It’s a great location just off the motorway. Convenient for the airport I would imagine. It was clean and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: There isn’t a lot nearby. There is a pizza restaurant very close but it was shut on Sunday when we were the. Instead there was a German Cuisine restaurant not far away near the petrol station.
