Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed at plenty of B&B Hotels across Europe, and this Stuttgart-Vaihingen location actually surprised me in the best way. When you first pull up on Schockenriedstr., it looks pretty standard from the outside – sort of that modern, boxy hotel design you see everywhere. But honestly, the moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this clean, minimalist vibe that just works. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions like at some chain places.
The thing about staying in Vaihingen is that you’re technically outside Stuttgart’s city center, but – and this is key – you’re actually in a really smart spot if you know the area. The S-Bahn connection is solid (Vaihingen station is maybe a 10-minute walk), and you can get into the heart of Stuttgart in about 20 minutes. Plus, if you’re here on business, you’re close to the university and some major corporate offices without dealing with downtown parking nightmares. I mean, street parking around the hotel is totally doable, which is honestly rare for any German city. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet – mostly residential with a few local cafés and that slightly suburban feel that’s actually kind of refreshing after bouncing between busy city centers.
What really sold me on this place, though, was the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living out of a hotel room. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”), and the soundproofing is better than you’d expect for a 3-star spot. I barely heard traffic from Schockenriedstr., even though it’s right there. The rooms have this smart, unfussy design – everything you need without clutter, decent desk space if you’re working, and the bathroom setup is surprisingly spacious. The breakfast spread is solid too – nothing fancy, but fresh bread, good coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple days. That 8.2 rating makes total sense to me because this isn’t trying to be a luxury experience, it’s just doing the fundamentals really well. If you’re the type who wants to explore Stuttgart properly but doesn’t need to be right in the thick of things (and honestly prefers a good night’s sleep), this spot hits that sweet spot between convenience and value.
Hotels in Stuttgart offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this engineering metropolis, with easy access to museums, opera houses, and automotive attractions.

Great location for roadtrip – Vasileios from United Kingdom – July 28, 2025 (9/10)
Part of a roadtrip so we wanted something away from the city centre and close to the autobahn. The hotel met our expectations and more. Clean, comfortable and with a secure carpark too. Nice breakfast option for less than 15€ per person. Recommended!
Super stay, with Air Cooling and its control system – Zeeshan from Germany – July 8, 2025 (9/10)
Air Cooling system is real and very good. I am mentioning this specially because many hotels mention that they have 'Air Conditioning' but they only have Ventilator and no air cooling. But this hotel has Air Cooling system that you can control yourself as well. SUPER.
What could be improved: A couple of wine glasses in the room should already be there in the room.Very Good – Tom from Belgium – May 26, 2025 (8/10)
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful – Lukas from Germany – March 28, 2025 (9/10)
Very friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Would stay here again.
We stayed for 1 night and the experience was good. – Trishrota from Germany – January 29, 2025 (8/10)
The room was clean and staff friendly. The location is good with a street parking available in plenty. A short walk takes you to the tram stop.
What could be improved: Unfortunately during our stay the elevator was out of order. However, the staff were very apologetic about the same.Very Good – Zhibek from Kazakhstan – November 30, 2024 (8/10)
Cleanliness, comfortable
Good choice – Erbil from Turkey – October 24, 2024 (8/10)
The room was designed well and beds were comfortable. Also, room’s cleaning was good.
What could be improved: The reception staff who helped us to check in was disrespectful. His behaviours were aggressive so, we felt unsafe during our first night at hotel. But in general other morning staff was kind. Our stay was good. We have stayed here previously and probably will again – Edmund from United Kingdom – October 6, 2024 (9/10)
We didn’t try the breakfast
What could be improved: It would be better if they had an actual bar. Instead of a vending machineexcellent hotel which I can highly recommend – Nicki from Netherlands – August 5, 2024 (9/10)
Location good, ample parking, easy check-in, comfortable rooms
What could be improved: there was no fridge/freezerFeedback on B&B hotel – Koh from Germany – July 24, 2024 (9/10)
The bed has been big enough and the wardrobe was fine. Also the location of the hotel was great, as there was Rewe and bakery nearby. In addition, the way to Vaihingen train station requires only 10 -15 minutes on foot or they can go by subway from Wallgraben station.
The bathroom was okay.
What could be improved: There was a silverfish in the bathroom on the floor, however it is usual in most bathrooms.
