Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Brera Stuttgart on Wernerstraße – it’s tucked into this quiet residential stretch in Feuerbach that feels more like someone’s neighborhood than a hotel district. But you know what? That turned out to be exactly what made it special.
The building itself has this understated charm that grows on you. It’s not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, just solid and welcoming in that distinctly German way. When I walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense of calm – none of that over-designed hotel sterility you get at chain places. The staff actually seemed to know what they were doing too, which is refreshing. Check-in was quick, and the woman at the desk gave me genuinely helpful tips about getting around Stuttgart, not just the usual tourist brochure stuff. She mentioned which S-Bahn stops to use (Feuerbach is your friend here) and honestly saved me from making the rookie mistake of trying to drive into the city center during rush hour.
The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – clean lines, comfortable beds that don’t leave you with a backache, and surprisingly good soundproofing considering you’re right in the city. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional tram rumbling by, but it’s more of a gentle urban lullaby than anything disruptive. What really got me was the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower pressure was fantastic (you never know with European hotels), there were enough outlets near the bed for your devices, and the Wi-Fi actually worked consistently throughout the building. The breakfast spread was solid too – proper German bread, decent coffee, and they didn’t skimp on the fresh fruit.
Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute S-Bahn ride from Stuttgart’s main attractions, which I actually preferred to being right in the thick of things. Feuerbach has this lived-in feel with genuine bakeries and corner shops where locals actually go about their daily business. There’s something refreshing about stepping outside your hotel and seeing regular people heading to work instead of tour groups with matching t-shirts. Plus, parking here is infinitely easier if you’re driving – and free, which in Stuttgart is basically a small miracle.
Look, this isn’t the kind of place that’s going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop pools. What it does is execute all the fundamentals really well while letting you experience Stuttgart like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through. The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense – it’s the kind of place that quietly exceeds expectations without making a big show of it. If you want to feel like you’re discovering a neighborhood instead of just checking items off a tourist list, and you appreciate places that focus on substance over flash, Brera Stuttgart will treat you right.

Exceptional – Dimitra from United States – August 11, 2025 (10/10)
Very accommodating staff. Comfortable apartment. Good size. Warm showers. Kitchenette is small, but we cooked full dinners each night. Smoke detectors are apparently very sensitive, but we left the doors open while cooking and had no issues.
What could be improved: The coffee maker was not clean and had a used pod in it. Ran several times with water, but it still produced black suit (coffee remnants)Super location – Ana from Germany – July 20, 2025 (8/10)
It was very close to the Bahnhof and also to the Porsche museum as well as to the city. It also good for runners as it has a lot of green places to run. Nice common area and it has a small gym that you can use and also a vending machine. There is a supermarket just around the corner so it's easy to get snacks
What could be improved: The floors were sticky throughout the entire stay not necessarily bad but kind of uncomfortable.Wonderful – Jayaramvignesh from Germany – July 19, 2025 (9/10)
Bed is very comfortable. Location is good. Very close to the bahnhof. Room is clean. Parking isn't a problem, many free parking available around the hotel.

What could be improved: Nothingoverall stay was very good – Anupam from India – December 30, 2024 (8/10)
there is a parking in front of hotel that is free so no need to pay for the parking
What could be improved: Bed size was too small for 2 adults with kids… it should be king size bedGreat price and very comfortable – Jane from Switzerland – December 8, 2024 (9/10)
Location, clean and comfortable
What could be improved: Not many facilitiesVery nice stay – gym, pool table, washing machine and comfortable beds – Shakirah from Australia – December 6, 2024 (9/10)
Very close to train station. Comfortable bed and perfect for what we needed. We were visiting Stuttgart purely for the Porsche and Mercedes Benz museums which was super easy and convenient with the train nearby. Black out curtains were prime for a good nights rest. Facilities were clean and great having the washing machine, gym and pool table downstairs.
What could be improved: Could have used a fridge in our room but I understand that another member of our group had one so just depends what you get. Can hear trains throughout the night.he is the best – Arboleda from Spain – November 4, 2024 (10/10)
I liked everything, the price, the comfort, the tranquility, the location, the access to public roads, the access to transportation, absolutely everything was very good, I recommend it.
What could be improved: I didn't know where the garbage was, so I went down with the bags to throw them away and I didn't find where, so I went back and left 10 euros upstairs for the person who arrived to throw it away because I didn't find it. I didn't know where to throw it away, even though I asked and they told me in the basement, but there were many doors, some that opened, others that opened for me.Wonderful – Mohamed from Egypt – October 26, 2024 (9/10)
The location is great, 2 minutes to the U station, 4 minutes to the S station, very well furnished and clean.
What could be improved: Being a self service apartment, you cannot contact anyone except on the phone or email, and if this is on weekend, no one will reply to you with any solution.
Also the heating is underfloor heating, and the thermostat is 1 2 3 4 5 system, so you can't know what the temperature is, so you have to open the heating and wait for the result after a long while, we did this and woke up after an hour feeling extremely hot
