Hotel Description

First Impressions

Walking into CityHotel Feuerbach, you immediately get that feeling of a well-run neighborhood hotel that doesn’t try too hard to impress. It’s a three-star property that knows exactly what it is — clean, comfortable, and refreshingly straightforward. The lobby has this understated German efficiency about it, and honestly, after staying at places that are all flash and no substance, there’s something reassuring about a hotel that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about staying in Feuerbach — you’re technically in Stuttgart, but it feels like you’ve discovered this quiet pocket that most tourists completely miss. The hotel sits on Grazer Straße, which might not sound glamorous, but it’s actually perfect if you want to experience how locals live. You’ve got the S-Bahn nearby that’ll get you into Stuttgart’s city center in about 15 minutes, and there’s something nice about coming back to a quieter neighborhood after a day of sightseeing. Couples seem to really get this vibe — they’ve rated the location 8.1, and I can see why.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what you’d expect from a solid German hotel — spotlessly clean, well-organized, and designed with function in mind rather than Instagram appeal. The beds are properly firm (none of that sinking-into-quicksand nonsense), and the bathroom actually has decent water pressure, which you know matters more than fancy toiletries. What struck me was how quiet everything was, especially considering you’re still in a major city. The windows do their job, and I actually slept through the night without any street noise waking me up.

Breakfast & Practical Perks

The breakfast setup here is honestly better than it has any right to be for a three-star place. They’ve got this continental buffet that covers all the German breakfast essentials — proper bread, cold cuts, cheese, plus vegetarian options that don’t feel like an afterthought. I mean, you’re not going to find exotic fruits or made-to-order omelets, but everything they do have is fresh and well-presented. And here’s a practical bonus that saved me some headaches — they have private parking right at the hotel, which if you’ve ever tried to find parking in Stuttgart, you’ll know is worth its weight in gold.

Why Guests Love It

What makes CityHotel Feuerbach work is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re getting a clean, comfortable base in a genuinely local part of Stuttgart, run by people who clearly care about the details that matter to travelers. It’s the kind of place where the staff remembers your name by the second day, and where everything just… works. The 7.3 rating might not scream excellence, but honestly, sometimes you just want a hotel that does the fundamentals really well, and this place nails that completely.

Reviews

  • Perfect stay in Feuerbach – tet from Japan – December 29, 2024 (8/10)

0 minute from super market and a few minutes from U Bahn station and many restaurants.

  • Overall a great experience – Martina from Czech Republic – September 27, 2024 (8/10)

The hotel is very clean and provides body wash and cream as well as towels in the room, they are also trying to be environmentally friendly which we enjoyed. The room we stayed in had a big window great for airing out the room, but also floor-length curtains for privacy and blocking out light from the street.

What could be improved: The hotel is situated in a busy part of the town, which is nice from tourist point of view, but it also means that there is a lot of noise from the street below even at night.

  • Very Good – Emre from France – January 3, 2024 (8/10)

Close to the metro and restaurants.
    Staff very welcoming and helpful.
    Parking onsite.

  • Very Good – Mano from Belgium – July 15, 2023 (8/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Well.in the morning we could really hear the next room….

  • okay place but too expensive for all the little problems – Lydia from United States – July 11, 2023 (7/10)

the rooms were pretty nice, kinda basic, and the staff was all pretty friendly

What could be improved: I didn’t get the room I booked, they didn’t have breakfast, the tv didn’t really work, the internet never loaded, and they don’t have so not disturb signs to put up so the cleaning folks came in while I was tryin to sleep off the Jetlag.

  • Very Good – Rob from United Kingdom – June 25, 2023 (8/10)

Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and secure private car parking

  • Recently renovated, but with issues – Johannes from Germany – December 1, 2022 (7/10)

Nice and quite room, clean, friendly staff, recently renovated

What could be improved: no breakfast, WLAN in the room not usable, TV had an issue. picture stalled

  • Good – Piotr from Poland – September 19, 2022 (7/10)

    Very large and comfortable room.

What could be improved: There is some sort of problems in terms of booking the parking place. It's location is under the market and the hotel's card doesn't seem to work properly so eventually I've made a double payment.

  • Clean. Wifi not working – Lena from Germany – August 31, 2022 (7/10)

    everything was clean

What could be improved: unfortunately the WI-FI didn’t work… only at the next day in the morning

  • Pleasant – Volodymyr from Ukraine – June 30, 2025 (6/10)

Good location: cafe, restaurant, supermarket, parking – everything is in close proximity.

What could be improved: Everything in the room was a bit "too used". The refrigerator was in a very unexpected place: "hanging" in the wardrobe and due to the lack of sufficient lighting, it was only found the next morning.
