Hotel Description

First Impressions

Walking up to Citynahes, schönes neues Appartment in Stuttgart-Süd, you immediately get that “this is going to be good” feeling. The building has that crisp, modern look that screams quality without being flashy about it. I mean, the name literally translates to “city-close, beautiful new apartment” — and honestly, they’re not overselling it. This four-star property sits on Hohentwielstraße, which might sound intimidating to pronounce, but it’s actually one of those perfectly positioned streets that locals know gives you the best of both worlds.

The Stuttgart-Süd Advantage

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in Stuttgart‘s south district, which feels residential enough to escape tourist crowds but urban enough that you’re never far from anything important. The area has this authentic German neighborhood vibe where you’ll see locals walking their dogs and grabbing coffee at corner cafés. You know what’s brilliant? You can actually walk to the city center without feeling like you need a marathon training plan, but when you come back in the evening, it’s quiet and peaceful. Couples have been rating this spot particularly high, and I get why — there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of the city.

The Apartment Experience

Step inside and you’ll see why recent guests have been giving the location an 8.5 rating. This isn’t your typical hotel room setup — you’re getting a proper apartment that feels like someone’s stylish home rather than a corporate accommodation. The space is genuinely new, so everything works perfectly (you know how frustrating it is when the shower has weird pressure or the Wi-Fi cuts out every five minutes). The kitchen is actually functional too, not one of those token kitchenettes where you can barely boil water. I found myself making morning coffee there instead of hunting for cafés, which saved both time and money.

Practical Perks

What really sets this place apart is how thoughtfully everything’s been planned. The building feels secure without being fortress-like, and there’s decent parking nearby — which, if you’ve ever tried to park in Stuttgart’s city center, you’ll know is basically a small miracle. The whole setup works particularly well if you’re planning to explore beyond just the main tourist spots. You can easily reach the Mercedes-Benz Museum or venture into the surrounding wine regions, then come back to your own space to decompress.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.0 overall rating tells the real story here — this isn’t just about having a nice place to sleep. It’s about feeling like you’re actually living in Stuttgart for a few days rather than just visiting. The combination of being close enough to walk everywhere important but far enough to feel like you’re in a real neighborhood is pretty special. Plus, having your own apartment means you can eat breakfast in your pajamas or have a glass of wine on a Tuesday evening without worrying about hotel dining hours. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own little temporary home base in one of Germany’s most interesting cities.

Apartments in Stuttgart provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Swabian markets and cook with regional German specialties.

    Ruhige, grüne Lage trotz Citynähe, guter Anschluss an den öffentlichen Verkehr;
    die Wohnung besticht durch schlichte Ästhetik mit erlesenem Sinn für Material und Qualität; kluger Minimalismus; Birgit ist eine aufgeschlossene, hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin! Ich komme gerne wieder!
