I mean, you’re still technically in Stuttgart – it’s not like you’re stranded somewhere – but you get this quieter, almost village-y feel that’s pretty rare in German cities these days.

The apartment itself sits on Beutelsbacher Straße, which sounds super German and intimidating until you realize it’s just a peaceful residential street where the biggest excitement is usually someone walking their dachshund. The building has that solid, no-nonsense German construction thing going on – thick walls that actually keep noise out (you know how thin hotel walls can be). Inside, it’s clean and functional without being sterile, sort of like staying at a well-organized friend’s place. The kitchen actually works, which honestly surprised me after some apartment rentals I’ve had where the stovetop was more decorative than functional. You’ll find proper coffee-making equipment too, because this is Germany and they take their coffee seriously, even in rental apartments.

What I really appreciated was the location – and not in that “conveniently located” marketing way, but genuinely. You’re about a 15-minute S-Bahn ride from Stuttgart’s center, but here’s the thing locals know: Untertürkheim connects you to some of the best wine country in the region. The Neckar River is right there, and on weekend mornings you’ll see cyclists heading out to the vineyards that most tourists never discover. There’s this family-run bakery about three blocks away where the pretzel situation is honestly exceptional (and they open early, which matters when you’re dealing with jet lag). Parking isn’t the nightmare it is in central Stuttgart either – there’s actually space for your car without paying tourist-trap prices.

The 8.4 rating makes sense once you stay there. It’s not trying to be fancy – no marble lobbies or whatever – but everything works like it should. The shower has good water pressure, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the whole place has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually hang out there instead of just crashing between sightseeing marathons. I particularly liked how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to hear the occasional S-Bahn, but it’s more of a gentle reminder that civilization exists rather than disruptive noise.

But if you want to experience Stuttgart more like someone who actually lives there – morning bakery runs, evening walks along the Neckar, easy train access when you want the city buzz – then this little apartment in Untertürkheim delivers exactly that.   Приміщення розташоване в тихому місці, інструкції, вислані власником, дозволили швидко здійснити заселення. Поруч станція S-Bahn, кафе, крамниці, аптека. В приміщенні було чисто, але дещо прохолодно. Зручні ліжка, хороша ванна кімната. Присутня побутова техніка і кухонне приладдя.
  
  What could be improved: Паркінг, означений власником приміщення був перегороджений бетонним блоком. На кухні були відсутні чай та кава, якщо це можна вважати недоліком. Також у ванній кімнаті були залишки рідкого мила та шампуня. Також не дуже зручні подушки. Але вцілому це незначні недоліки.
