Hotel Description
First Impressions
Walking into Hampton by Hilton Stuttgart City Centre, you immediately get that “this is going to work out just fine” feeling. It’s one of those three-star hotels that doesn’t try to be something it’s not — instead, it just does everything really well. The lobby has that clean, modern Hampton vibe you’d expect, but what struck me was how the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive. You know what I mean? That makes all the difference when you’re tired from traveling.
Location & Getting Around
Honestly, the location on Wolframstrasse is pretty fantastic for exploring Stuttgart. You’re right in Stuttgart-Mitte, which means you can actually walk to most of the stuff you’ll want to see — the Staatsgalerie is maybe ten minutes away, and the main shopping area along Königstrasse is even closer. I mean, couples seem to really love this spot (they rate it 8.7, which is impressive), and I get why. There’s something nice about being able to stroll back to your hotel after dinner instead of figuring out public transport or hunting for a taxi.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d hope for from Hampton — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was genuinely good (not just hotel-marketing good), and the workspace actually worked if you needed to get some things done. What I appreciated was the attention to small details — decent lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that felt modern without being sterile. It’s not flashy, but everything just… works.
Breakfast & Practical Perks
The breakfast buffet here is actually worth getting up for, which isn’t something I say lightly. They’ve got the usual continental spread, but they also do a nice job with vegetarian options — fresh fruit, good bread, decent coffee. I found myself lingering over breakfast more than usual, partly because the dining area has this relaxed morning energy. Oh, and they have parking right at the hotel, which is honestly a huge relief if you’re driving in Stuttgart. Trust me, finding parking in German city centers can be a real headache.
Why Guests Love It
What makes this place work is that it delivers on the fundamentals without any fuss. You’re not paying for amenities you won’t use — instead, you’re getting a solid base for exploring Stuttgart that won’t drain your travel budget. The staff knows the area well and can point you toward good local spots (ask them about nearby restaurants — they steered me toward a fantastic Swabian place I never would have found otherwise). It’s the kind of hotel where you check in, settle in quickly, and then focus on enjoying the city rather than dealing with hotel drama.

Very Good – Cristina from Romania – August 10, 2025 (8/10)
It was clean, next to the stadtbibliothek and close to the U bahn station.
What could be improved: I would not say it's right in the middle of the city. Breakfast was pretty busy. Some water sounds from the pipes all night. Overall we liked itLovely hotel – Aleksandra from United Kingdom – August 9, 2025 (8/10)
Nice clean hotel, white by railway the rooms are silent. Clean, walking distance to city centre and great shower pressure. Lovely staff, pleasant stay
Wonderful – Anton from Israel – August 8, 2025 (9/10)
What could be improved: Staff did not inform me firstly about the the particularity of the elevator which requires to lean the key-room card to its button board inside the cabine in order to get the target floor. Otherwise the elevator does not go.
Clean premises – Ughur from Azerbaijan – August 6, 2025 (8/10)
Clean premises. Breakfast also was a good value for money
What could be improved: Room was too small for 3 people. However, we knew about it before booking itIt was a pleasant stay even for a night. – Rene from United Kingdom – August 4, 2025 (8/10)
Breakfast was good.
Very Good – Oxana from Switzerland – July 28, 2025 (8/10)
It was perfectly clean. Close enough to all the main attraction
Friendly Service – Theunis from United States – July 19, 2025 (9/10)
A short walk from the main train station and a public transport stop right next to the hotel. The facility was neat and clean. The room was clean with a comfortable temperature setting available. Breakfast was great – much more than a standard European breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient.
What could be improved: The room was cramped for three people and the sleeper couch not as comfortable. But still not the worst ever.Easy access to malls, train station, eateries – Archana from New Zealand – July 10, 2025 (9/10)
Location
What could be improved: Small size of room for family but not too badBusiness or leaisure, Hampton will make your stay comfortable. – Atila from Turkey – July 3, 2025 (9/10)
This facility is within walking distance to main railway station and if with luggage then it is just 3 stations from Charlotteplatz or a single station from HBF. The U-Bahn station is right in front of the hotel and getting off the train and into the hotel takes about 1 min. Milaneo mall right next to it had a selection of shops for our needs and nice restaurants around the Square where the hotel is located. Hotel is new, peaceful and clean. Breakfast is simple but quite satisfactory. A special mention for the wonderful staff. Manager Mr. Yasin was very polite and Ms. Mona at the reception was professional, warm with a can-do attitude. She deserves the biggest praise in our Hampton experience.
What could be improved: A small fridge in the room would be great. We were there when Germany was sizzling hot and cold drinks even late at night were welcome.Very Good – Anna from Germany – June 29, 2025 (8/10)
Great location, kind and friendly staffs, inclusive breakfast.
My daughter loved that she could see the trains from the rooms:)
What could be improved: The hotel parking space was full even though the entrance sign showed us there is the space. As parking was very narrow it was hard to get it out.
