Hotel Description
First Impressions
Walking into Holiday Inn Stuttgart by IHG, you immediately get that reliable, polished vibe that IHG properties do so well. This four-star hotel sits in the Weilimdorf district, which honestly feels like a smart choice if you want to stay in Stuttgart without dealing with the city center chaos. The lobby has that contemporary business hotel aesthetic — clean lines, comfortable seating areas, and staff who actually seem happy to help you figure out your plans.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I really appreciate about this spot — couples consistently rate the location highly, and I can see why. Weilimdorf gives you that suburban Stuttgart experience while keeping you connected to everything that matters. You’re not stuck in tourist central, but you can still reach the Mercedes-Benz Museum or Stuttgart’s shopping districts without too much hassle. The parking situation is actually sorted here, which anyone who’s driven in German cities will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The transport links are equally impressive, with easy access to public transit options that connect you throughout the region.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had that Holiday Inn reliability factor — you know exactly what you’re getting, and it delivers. Clean, functional, with a decent-sized desk if you need to catch up on work. The beds are properly comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and the bathroom setup is straightforward without any of those trendy design choices that look great but don’t actually work. What struck me was how quiet everything felt, even though you’re still technically in the city. Each accommodation features modern amenities and thoughtful design elements that enhance your stay.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is where they really show their strengths. They’ve got both American and buffet options, which means you can go for familiar comfort food or explore more local German breakfast items — honestly, the best of both worlds. The restaurant area has good natural light, and the coffee is actually decent (not always a given at chain hotels). I found myself lingering over breakfast longer than usual, which says something about both the food quality and the relaxed atmosphere they’ve created. The culinary offerings reflect a commitment to quality and variety.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes this place work is how it balances accessibility with that neighborhood feel. You’re getting solid four-star amenities without paying city center prices, and the location gives you options — whether you want to explore Stuttgart’s automotive heritage, check out the local dining scene, or just have a comfortable base for business meetings. The 8.4 rating from guests feels about right — it’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in town, but it consistently delivers on what matters most to travelers who want reliability, comfort, and genuine value for their money. This property represents an excellent choice for discerning visitors.
To book hotel in Stuttgart during the famous Stuttgart Ballet season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts automotive enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms were clean, everything you need was there (except a mini bar). The food was good, and the staff was really kind and helpful. They showed a lot of interest (absolutely not in being nosy) and remarkable was their attention, they thought along with us.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! I loveeeddd the location as it is directly across from the train station, making commuting easy. The rooms are also soundproof. I traveled with my small dog and her bark was muffled.
