Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about JUNGLE No5? The name actually makes sense once you’re inside – there’s this whole urban jungle vibe going on with plants everywhere and this sort of industrial-meets-nature design that somehow works perfectly in Stuttgart’s city center. I mean, you’re literally on Weberstraße, which puts you right in the thick of things without being on one of those crazy busy main drags that keep you up all night.
The location is honestly pretty smart – you can walk to the Staatsoper in maybe ten minutes, and there’s this great little bakery just around the corner on Eberhardstraße that locals actually go to (not just tourists). What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to create this boutique hotel feel without being pretentious about it. The rooms have character, you know? Not cookie-cutter corporate stuff. Though I’ll be honest, at a 7.6 rating, it’s not perfect – I noticed a few little maintenance things that could use attention, and the WiFi was a bit spotty on the third floor. But honestly, the staff more than makes up for any small issues. They actually know Stuttgart, not just the obvious tourist spots.
Here’s what really won me over: the breakfast setup (well, when they’re doing full service) and how quiet it gets at night despite being so central. You’d think being in Stuttgart-Mitte would mean dealing with noise, but Weberstraße is actually pretty residential once you get off the main shopping streets. Plus, if you’re driving, parking isn’t the nightmare it is at some city center hotels – there’s a garage situation that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. The whole place has this lived-in feeling that’s hard to find in four-star hotels these days. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Stuttgart, but it’s got personality and the kind of details that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere that actually belongs in the neighborhood rather than some corporate chain that could be anywhere.
Apartments in Stuttgart provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Swabian markets and cook with regional German specialties.

Wonderful – Arafat from Germany – July 9, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: War alles okayVery Good – Katarzyna from United States – May 28, 2025 (8/10)
Great location, walking distance to restaurants and bars.Renovated , clean room and bathroom, nice decor.
What could be improved: There is no staff or front desk.To get into the hotel ,there were a lot of steps with unclear instructions. It took us some time to figure it out with the help of people that were staying there and walking out the door. There was also a weird intermittent flashing light coming from underneath the TV,we felt like someone was taking our pictures or recording us.Wonderful – Sarah from Germany – May 15, 2025 (9/10)
The location is great.
Great Short Stay in Parrot 1 – Alice from United Kingdom – May 1, 2025 (7/10)
Check-in is fully digital and worked very well for us. Room was really well designed with great lighting, and lots of extra touches make it that little bit special, like the smart TV and complementary items. Room had a safe that was so well hidden we didn't actually notice until the second day. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is spacious. Located a very easy walk into the main city centre and very near to a big U-Bahn station. Staff responded very quickly to queries. All-in-all a great spot for our short stay in Stuttgart.
What could be improved: Parrot 1 is on the ground floor at the back, there are windows but they are onto the rear alley so not much daylight. The hotel was very near to street with late night bars/clubs, we didn't find the street intimidating but it's something to be aware of. The pillows were huge, comfy to lie on but a little tricky to sleep with. Standard check-out was 10am which is a little earlier than most places and we weren't able to book late check-out through Booking.com.Party central – Mike from Switzerland – April 28, 2025 (7/10)
Great location for going out and partying in the red light district with loads of bars around
What could be improved: Quite noisy with music and punters from barsGreat value for money – Georgi from Bulgaria – March 4, 2025 (9/10)
Location was great. Very near the centre with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
Room was tiny but functional, if you're planning on using it for sleep and having a shower.
What could be improved: No fridge or wardrobe in the room. The bed is a bit short for me (I'm a bit taller). There was a bit of noise during our stay from a construction in front of the hotel as well as some drunk people knocked on our door in the middle of the night.Great place, just a heads up it may be loud! 1 – Matt from United Kingdom – February 14, 2025 (8/10)
Really clean and nice place. Small but has everything. The decor is cool, the bathroom was particularly great. Very easy check in and out. Frankly great value.
What could be improved: The only thing – our room was in the first floor right above a club that was banging out the tunes until 5am. To be fair we would have joined if everywhere hadn't been totally full. But it may be worth warning guests unfamiliar with Stuttgart that the rooms lower down facing the road will be loud… On the flip side if you plan a late night out anyway the location is fantastic.Great for a short stay – Lina from Lithuania – January 18, 2025 (9/10)
It’s quite clean, centraly located, cosy, has a coffee machine, the online check in works seamlessly so as the codes for the doors. The rooftop terrace was closed at the moment of our visit (middle of winter), but there was a nice indoor attic area to sit, work, and look through the skylights. Also the common areas of the hotel smell really nice 🙂
What could be improved: It would be nice to know before the booking what kind of neighbourhood this is 🙂
There were quite a bit of noise outside on Friday night, also the green light on the outside of the window was a bit distracting for sleep.
Something behind the tv was also blinking green light quite intensely through the night.
Good to point out that there is no elevator and might be quite a bit of stairs to climb to your room.
Also the toilet was not clean when we arrived and one of the coffee creamers was spoiled.
Otherwise a nice hotel for a short stay. Despite everything I think I would stay again.Real good but needs a few tweaks – Zişan from Turkey – January 1, 2025 (9/10)
Everything was brand new and squeaky clean. It was designed well and lovely. There were extra amenities and everything was arranged perfectly. The location was convenient enough and their online check-in system was very effective. Would definitely consider coming back
What could be improved: There was a noise that sounded like someone banging on the pipes, loudly. Thankfully, it didn’t happen the first night, but it happened twice during the second day and the second night. It was coming from the bathroom heater and it stopped once we turned the heater valve, either way. Although it would have been ok since there is an easy solution, it was extremely loud and not a good way to wake up in the middle of the night. Also, it would have been nice to have someone to talk to.
Also the sink was too small and placed way too awkwardly to wash our hands easily. Just a suggestionGood central and modern place – Gavin from Germany – November 24, 2024 (9/10)
Very central. Very clean, comfortable and modern. Nice shower. Nespresso machine with four complimentary coffee pods. Comfortable bed and good TV with the option of Netflix. Can check in online and use codes to enter.
What could be improved: Netflix option requires that you have your own account which I do not have. I would want to have access to Netflix. Also, struggled to cast my phone to the TV but that could have been my fault.
