Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Stuttgart, but LaMiaCasa City-Grande honestly surprised me – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you first walk up to 46 Bussenstraße, you might think “wait, this is it?” because it doesn’t scream luxury hotel from the outside. But that’s actually part of its charm. The Stuttgart-Ost neighborhood has this lived-in feel that’s way more authentic than staying near Königstraße with all the tourist chaos. You’re literally a ten-minute walk to the Mercedes-Benz Museum if that’s your thing, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by actual Stuttgart life – real cafés, local bakeries, people heading to work instead of just shuffling between attractions.
The family-business aspect isn’t just marketing speak here. You can tell the moment you check in that someone actually cares about the details. The lobby has this warm, almost residential feeling – not sterile like those big chain hotels. I mean, they somehow managed to make a 5-star place feel welcoming rather than intimidating, which is honestly rare. The rooms are spacious (German hotel rooms can be tiny, so this was refreshing), and everything just works properly. The shower pressure is fantastic, the beds are actually comfortable, and – this might sound weird but it matters – the curtains block out light completely. If you’ve ever tried to sleep in a German city during summer, you know why this is crucial. The soundproofing is solid too, which matters because Bussenstraße does get some traffic during the day, though it quiets down nicely in the evenings.
What really sets this place apart is how they handle groups and families without making it feel like a chaotic convention center. I’ve seen places that claim to cater to both business travelers and families, and it usually means screaming kids in the lobby while you’re trying to work. Not here – they’ve figured out some kind of magic balance. The staff genuinely knows what they’re doing, and I don’t just mean they’re polite (though they are). They actually have useful local knowledge. When I asked about getting to the Weißenhof Estate, the front desk person didn’t just hand me a generic map – she told me which U-Bahn stop to use and mentioned that Tuesday mornings are less crowded. That 9.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s not flashy or trying to impress you with gimmicks, but everything just… works. And in a city like Stuttgart where you want to spend your time exploring rather than dealing with hotel problems, that’s exactly what you need.

The apartment was spotlessly clean with two bathrooms and two separate toilets, which was perfect for a group of 6.
The apartment is well connected with public transport to the city centre. It was just a shame we only stayed for one night.Spacious, elegant and great for families – Malcolm from Malta – May 3, 2025 (10/10)

“Great Apartment in Stuttgart!”
We stayed at this apartment for one night during our trip, and it was an excellent experience. The place was very clean, beautifully designed, and well-maintained. Although we didn’t spend much time there, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Traveling as a group of five friends, we found the space perfect for us. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a short or long stay in Stuttgart!Home away from home – Vanessa from Australia – October 17, 2024 (10/10)
So clean and beautifully decorated in central area of the city. Excellent facilities – combined washer and dryer and parking permit to allow for parking on the street.
What could be improved: Parking was a bit difficult later on in the day but not too bad.It was a wonderful experience staying here and will definitely recommend this place. – Raga from India – September 17, 2024 (10/10)
Pros: The apartment is very spacious, clean and it has everything we need and moreover organized beautifully. The apartment is tastefully decorated. Our stay was very pleasant. No trouble at all. We were able to find a parking spot off the street everyday with no big trouble. The apartment is located in a very central but quiet and peaceful location that accessing any locations in the city was not hard and at the same time we didn't have the trouble of loud city traffic. Grocery stores and restaurants were in walkable distances. The host really took care of everything for our stay. As the host promised, we had a 5-star stay.
What could be improved: Not so much of cons rather concerns: We tried booking on Airbnb at first, as it was showing a little lesser price than here. However, Airbnb didn't allow us to book at all even after talking to their customer service. So, we had to book on booking.com for a little higher money. If there is a possibility to have a dedicated parking spot, that would help. Every time we had to take our car; we were worried if we will find a parking spot again when we return. Luckily, we managed always. There is a 100€ cleaning fee charged during the booking. It would be good if the cleaning fee is reduced, or if we are not asked to clean the trash during checkout.More than perfect! – Constantin-cristian from Romania – June 30, 2024 (10/10)
Extremely clean, attention to details, felt like your own luxurious home. The host gave us all the details requested.
What could be improved: .Exceptional – Ssiri from Germany – May 9, 2024 (10/10)
Clean and tidy facilities. Near from the central station and there are bus stops near the apartment.
What could be improved: Actually nothing
