Look, I’ll be straight with you about the Moxy Stuttgart Feuerbach – it’s one of those places that surprised me in the best way possible. When I first pulled up on Steiermaerker Strasse, I was honestly expecting another cookie-cutter business hotel, but this place has some real personality to it. The industrial-chic vibe works surprisingly well in this part of Stuttgart, and you know what? The Feuerbach district isn’t as sleepy as people make it out to be.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between trendy and actually functional. The lobby has this buzzing energy – there’s always someone working on their laptop or having what sounds like important meetings over surprisingly good coffee. I mean, the whole place feels like it was designed by people who actually travel for work, not just Instagram photos. The rooms are compact but clever (think New York apartment clever, not airplane bathroom clever), and honestly, the bed situation is solid. I’m picky about mattresses, and I slept well. The rainfall shower is one of those small luxuries that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere more expensive than you actually are. Only minor gripe? The walls aren’t the thickest, so if you get stuck next to a group of consultants celebrating a big deal… well, you’ll know about it.

Here’s the thing that most people don’t realize – this location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Stuttgart at all. Yeah, you’re not in Mitte, but you’re right by the S-Bahn station, and you can be in the city center in fifteen minutes. Plus, and this is key, parking here doesn’t cost you a kidney like it does downtown. The whole Feuerbach area has been quietly gentrifying (there’s a fantastic Vietnamese place just around the corner that locals haven’t fully discovered yet), and you’re close enough to the Porsche Museum that you could walk there if you’re feeling ambitious. The staff seems to actually know the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward a proper German bakery that I never would have found otherwise. That 8.5 rating makes sense to me; it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises without any of that fake luxury nonsense. If you’re the type who wants to experience Stuttgart like someone who might actually live there, rather than just hitting the tourist spots, this place gets it right.
