Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Porschenahe Wohung” on Stammheimer Straße, I thought it was just another apartment rental trying to cash in on being near the Porsche Museum. But you know what? This place actually gets it right, and that 9.5 rating isn’t just people being generous.

The location is what hooked me initially. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Porsche Museum (hence the name), but here’s what the booking sites don’t tell you – you’re also perfectly positioned for exploring Zuffenhausen without dealing with Stuttgart’s city center chaos. The S-Bahn station is close enough that you can hear the trains if you’re really listening, but honestly, it’s more of a comforting city hum than anything disruptive. I mean, if you’re used to complete silence, it might take a night to adjust, but most travelers actually find it kind of soothing. Plus, there’s this little bakery about two blocks down Stammheimer Straße that opens ridiculously early – perfect if you’re dealing with jet lag and find yourself awake at 6 AM craving actual German bread.

What really impressed me was how the place feels like someone’s well-cared-for home rather than a sterile hotel room. The owners clearly put thought into the details that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just sleeping. The kitchen actually has proper knives (you’d be surprised how rare this is), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The Wi-Fi is solid too – I was working remotely part of my stay and never had those annoying connection drops during video calls. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods, especially when there are events at the Porsche facility, but the hosts send you detailed instructions beforehand that actually work. The building itself has that solid, well-maintained feel you get in German residential areas – thick walls, quality fixtures, everything built to last. I stayed during a particularly rainy week in October, and you really appreciate good German construction when you’re warm and dry inside while it’s properly miserable outside. The whole Zuffenhausen neighborhood has this lived-in authenticity that’s refreshing after bouncing between generic hotel districts in other cities. You’ll find yourself walking to the local grocery store or grabbing dinner at family-run restaurants where tourists are welcome but not the main clientele.

  a perfect detached independent big house. This house had everything, PlayStation, great sound system, big computer, big TV in every room., big room at the entrance, to relax and sit together. Houseware was new. In the kitchen, tea and coffee makers, plus enough tea and coffee. A big refrigerator. lots of wine glasses. The surrounding of the house is empty and very quiet environment. Right next to the house, parking and electrical outlets to charge our electric vehicle. Me and my family liked this house very much and we will go to visit again. There was a forest near the house and there were also many sports facilities in this large park. There were very good restaurants. There was a tram station right next to the house. In short, the perfect place.

  The apartment is really spacious and comfortable for a family. It was great to have 3 big TV screens and a PlayStation, although we didn't use it and a perfect wifi in every room. Very close to tram station and porsche Museum.
  
  What could be improved: I really didn't like that it wasn't so clean and in regards with the amount of money I payed for I expexted to be better cleaned. So I will not prefer it the next time

  Everything was perfect.
  Giant tv screens with Netflix, excellent mattresses and insulation
