Hotel Description
First Impressions
Walking into Premier Inn Stuttgart City Centre, you immediately get that feeling of “okay, this works.” It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — just a solid three-star hotel that knows exactly what business travelers and tourists actually need. The lobby has that clean, modern Premier Inn vibe you’ll recognize if you’ve stayed at their UK properties, but there’s something distinctly German about the efficiency here that I honestly appreciated. The staff are welcoming and efficient, making check-in a breeze even during peak hours.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about Wolframstraße — you’re basically in the sweet spot of Stuttgart. I mean, Stuttgart-Mitte isn’t the flashiest neighborhood, but you can walk to the main shopping street (Königstraße) in about ten minutes, and the train station is close enough that you’re not dragging your luggage forever. What I really liked was how couples seem to love this area — apparently they rate the location 8.8 out of 10, and honestly, I get it. There are some decent restaurants within walking distance, and you’re not stuck in some business district that dies after 6 PM. The neighborhood offers genuine local character with cafes and shops that reflect Stuttgart’s vibrant culture.
The Room Experience
The room itself is clean, functional, with that signature purple accent wall that somehow doesn’t feel as corporate here as it does elsewhere. The bed was actually really comfortable — I slept better than I expected, which matters when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. There’s decent parking available too, though you’ll want to book it in advance if you’re driving into the city center. The windows offer pleasant views of the surrounding streets, and the modern amenities make it easy to stay connected during your visit.
Breakfast & Dining
Now, the breakfast situation is where this place really surprised me. They’ve got continental options, but also a proper Full English/Irish setup, plus a buffet that actually has some local German touches. I wasn’t expecting much, but the quality was solid — fresh bread, decent coffee, and they even had some regional specialties mixed in. You know what? For a chain hotel breakfast, it felt like they were actually trying, not just going through the motions. The dining area is bright and welcoming, making mornings feel less rushed.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t a boutique hotel with Instagram-worthy design, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that matters. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you consider that people want reliability, cleanliness, and a good location without paying premium prices. Stuttgart can be expensive, and finding something this central that doesn’t break the bank — while still being genuinely comfortable — is actually harder than you’d think. It’s the kind of place where you check in, drop your bags, and head out to explore the city without worrying about whether your accommodation will be a disaster when you get back. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel delivers consistent value.

Hotel as it should be at his range.
What could be improved: Parking garage is quite small, so arrive earlier to avoid problems if you are travelling by car.Wonderful – Barrie from United Kingdom – July 29, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: NoneIt was good except that one staff who was rude and asked me for money to check in an hour early – Karuna from Nepal – July 1, 2025 (8/10)
The location room were nice clean and everything was perfect .
What could be improved: That one staff I can’t recall his name but he was there at around 1:30 /2 pm , I came just an hour earlier to check in , in case he can offer me the room I mean we usually have the staff say let me check if room is ready or let me put your luggage till the room was ready he straight up asked me if you want room now you must pay 20 euro extra , who does that for an hour early check in .
I wasn’t even insisting I was just asking for possibility I had just traveled the morning and had arrived Stuttgart , I have stayed in so many places but never this kind of response from a staff and above all it wasn’t even busy , he was just not service oriented , when I actually went to the other premiere inn in Stuttgart they offered check in instantly even if I was earlier than my time . On check out the person was super nice .Very Good – Gaurav_chopra from India – June 25, 2025 (8/10)
Absolute value for money! A 2 minute walk to the train station and located in a peaceful location, right next to a huge shopping mall. Extremely comfortable and the bed was super comfy.
Great value for our short stay in Stuttgart. – Francois from Canada – June 18, 2025 (8/10)
Great value for money! Hotel is right next to a major mall.
What could be improved: Parking is not well indicated for their entrance, easy to confuse with the mall and conference center parking entrance.A good option for a short stay near to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof – Geoff from United Kingdom – June 14, 2025 (8/10)
Clean and efficient, close to the main railway station and right next to an U-bahn station. Good value for the price paid (€69).
What could be improved: There wasn’t very much around the hotel apart from a shopping mall.Staff was nice and helpful! – Guy from United States – June 4, 2025 (7/10)
The location turned out to be right next to the tram line. You can get to old town in about a minute or to the central train station in less.
What could be improved: Not a lot of food choices within walking distance.
