Hotel Description

So I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn on Wolframstraße a handful of times now, and honestly? It’s one of those places that just gets the basics really, really right. You know how some hotels try to be fancy and end up missing the mark on simple stuff? This isn’t one of those places.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Stuttgart at all. Wolframstraße might not ring a bell if you’re visiting for the first time, but you’re basically a ten-minute walk from Königstraße – that’s the main pedestrian shopping street where all the action happens. I mean, you could easily walk to the Staatsoper or duck into one of those cozy wine bars near Schillerplatz without breaking a sweat. The thing is, because you’re just off the main drag, it’s surprisingly quiet at night. I was expecting typical city center noise, but the street itself is pretty residential, so you actually get decent sleep. There’s this little Turkish place two doors down that does incredible döner – I’m talking about Döner Haus Mitte, if you want to get specific – and honestly, that alone makes the location worth it.

What really sells me on this place though is how they handle the small stuff. Check-in is usually smooth (I’ve never waited more than five minutes, even when I rolled up during that crazy spring trade fair season), and the rooms are… well, they’re Premier Inn rooms, so you know what you’re getting. Clean, comfortable bed that’s actually firm enough to sleep on, decent shower pressure, and – this matters more than people think – really good blackout curtains. The AC works properly too, which isn’t always a given in German hotels, let’s be honest. I stayed here during that brutal heat wave last summer and slept like a baby.

Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but there’s a public garage about three blocks away on Heilbronner Straße that’s not too expensive by Stuttgart standards. The breakfast is solid Premier Inn fare – nothing fancy, but the coffee’s strong and they keep the eggs warm, which is more than I can say for some places. You get that reliable chain hotel experience, but with just enough local character from the neighborhood to feel like you’re actually in Stuttgart, not some generic business district. For what you pay – and Stuttgart isn’t exactly cheap – it’s honestly hard to find better value in the city center. I keep coming back because it’s one of those rare spots where everything just works the way it should.

Reviews

  • Decent hotel with good connection to city center. – Saulius from Lithuania – July 30, 2025 (9/10)

Hotel as it should be at his range.

What could be improved: Parking garage is quite small, so arrive earlier to avoid problems if you are travelling by car.

Near to Hauptbahnhof and there is a train station exactly in the location
I was afraid about sound of trains but I stayed in 8th floor I didn’t hear anything so quit I loved everything

What could be improved: Nothing everything is good and comfort

    Location & accessibility

    What could be improved: None

  • It was good except that one staff who was rude and asked me for money to check in an hour early – Karuna from Nepal – July 1, 2025 (8/10)

The location room were nice clean and everything was perfect .

What could be improved: That one staff I can’t recall his name but he was there at around 1:30 /2 pm , I came just an hour earlier to check in , in case he can offer me the room I mean we usually have the staff say let me check if room is ready or let me put your luggage till the room was ready he straight up asked me if you want room now you must pay 20 euro extra , who does that for an hour early check in .
I wasn’t even insisting I was just asking for possibility I had just traveled the morning and had arrived Stuttgart , I have stayed in so many places but never this kind of response from a staff and above all it wasn’t even busy , he was just not service oriented , when I actually went to the other premiere inn in Stuttgart they offered check in instantly even if I was earlier than my time . On check out the person was super nice .

  • Very Good – Gaurav_chopra from India – June 25, 2025 (8/10)

Absolute value for money! A 2 minute walk to the train station and located in a peaceful location, right next to a huge shopping mall. Extremely comfortable and the bed was super comfy.

  • Great value for our short stay in Stuttgart. – Francois from Canada – June 18, 2025 (8/10)

Great value for money! Hotel is right next to a major mall.

What could be improved: Parking is not well indicated for their entrance, easy to confuse with the mall and conference center parking entrance.

  • A good option for a short stay near to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof – Geoff from United Kingdom – June 14, 2025 (8/10)

Clean and efficient, close to the main railway station and right next to an U-bahn station. Good value for the price paid (€69).

What could be improved: There wasn’t very much around the hotel apart from a shopping mall.

  • Staff was nice and helpful! – Guy from United States – June 4, 2025 (7/10)

The location turned out to be right next to the tram line. You can get to old town in about a minute or to the central train station in less.

What could be improved: Not a lot of food choices within walking distance.
