You know what caught me off guard about Rioca Stuttgart Posto 6? I was expecting another cookie-cutter business hotel in Möhringen, but this place actually has some personality. The location on Schockenriedstraße puts you right in this interesting mix of residential and commercial Stuttgart – not the touristy center, but honestly that’s part of its charm. You’re close enough to the SI-Centrum that you can hear the occasional buzz from events, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds stumbling back from shows.

The hotel itself feels like someone put actual thought into the design instead of just ordering furniture from a catalog. I mean, it’s got that modern German efficiency thing down – everything works exactly as it should – but there’s this warmth to it that you don’t always get with four-star places. The rooms have this nice balance of clean lines and comfortable touches, and honestly, the beds are better than they have any right to be. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night despite being on a fairly busy street. The soundproofing is solid, which matters when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag or recover from a long day of meetings in the city. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no upselling, no complicated explanations, just “here’s your key, here’s what you need to know.”

The staff seems to actually know the area, which is rarer than you’d think. When I asked about getting to the Neckar Park for a game, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic map – he told me about the S-Bahn timing and which exit to use. Little things like that make the difference between a decent stay and one where you feel like someone’s got your back. The breakfast setup is solid without being fancy, and you can tell they source some stuff locally rather than going the mass-produced route. Parking’s available, which in Stuttgart is basically a small miracle, and the rates are reasonable for what you get. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re traveling.

  The hotel , rooms and the breakfast was all arranged so clean and I would say completely worth the money paid. The swing added a next level class to the room and for us personally helped me put our kid to sleep and keep her a little engaged while packing and getting ready. The kitchen had all basic needs ! ( Cutlery, vessels , washing liquid) !
  
  What could be improved: The rooms are not cleaned daily , since we had a child also with us we would have been more satisfied if the rooms where cleaned daily and towels changed daily.
