You know, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Suites im Cloud on Wolframstraße – honestly, the name made me think it’d be one of those overly trendy places trying too hard. But stepping inside, I was pleasantly surprised by how understated and comfortable it actually feels. It’s tucked right in Stuttgart-Mitte, which means you’re basically in the thick of everything without the chaos of being directly on Königstraße (thank god, because that pedestrian zone gets absolutely insane on weekends).

The suites themselves are what really won me over – they’ve got this practical elegance thing going on that feels very German in the best way possible. Nothing flashy, but everything works exactly as it should. The kitchenettes are actually usable (I mean, you can cook a proper meal, not just heat up instant noodles), and the beds are firm in that way that makes you sleep like a rock. I stayed on the third floor and was worried about street noise since Wolframstraße can get busy during rush hour, but honestly it was quieter than I expected. The windows do their job well. What I really appreciated was the space – these aren’t cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. You can actually spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase.

Location-wise, you’re about a ten-minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof, which is perfect for day trips (seriously, hop on the S-Bahn and you can be in the vineyards around Esslingen in no time). The Staatsgalerie is practically around the corner if you’re into art, and there’s this little Turkish place two blocks down that does incredible döner – way better than the tourist traps near Schlossplatz. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, but there’s a garage nearby if you’re driving. The 7.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s solid, reliable, does what it promises without any big surprises either way. The staff at check-in were friendly enough, though not overly chatty, which I actually prefer. Sometimes you just want to get to your room and settle in, you know? It’s the kind of place where business travelers and tourists mix comfortably, nobody’s putting on airs. If you want to be in the center of Stuttgart without paying premium prices for marble lobbies and doormen, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  I had a good stay at the property. Host was very helpful and the place was clean and had all the stuff that one would need to have a good experience.
  
  At times there was some issue with water pressure in the taps but that I guess is an issue in the whole area and not specific to the property.
  
  The location was good, it is close to shops and the main station.
  
  I will recommend this property and will definitely come back again.

  L’emplacement idéal en centre ville. Proches transport en commun, commerces etc.

  L’interlocuteur (Anita) très serviable mais son collègue qui nous a ouvert et donné le badge un peu moins, pas d’explication, il a ouvert la porte, donné le badge et a dit de le laisser en partant et c’est tout.
  
  Le sol était très chaud ! Peut être un dysfonctionnement quelque part mais il fait très chaud dans l’appartement

  Wenn man Informationen oder Service sucht sollte man sich bei dieser Unterkunft frühzeitig mit dem Thema auseinandersetzen und an Wochentagen.. z.B. samstags geht da nichts..

  Die Lage ist für uns perfekt. Nah am HBF, nah an weiteren öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und die Innenstadt ist problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Durch das angrenzende Einkaufszentrum hat man in 1 Minute Zugriff auf alles was man im Alltag braucht.
  
  Der Blick aus der Wohnung ist genial. Man schaut über die Dächer Stuttgarts, auf Weinberge und co.
  
  What could be improved: Durch die enorme Hitze an den Tagen fehlte es ganz einfach an einer Klimaanlage. Es gab zwar einen Ventilator, aber das hat nicht viel gebracht. Bei Sommerhitze braucht es eine Klimaanlage. Im Frühling, Herbst und Winter ist das sicher kein Problem.
