First Impressions

The Apart Business Hotel sits quietly on Scharnhauser Straße in Plieningen, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior — it’s pretty understated. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t need to shout about it. This three-star property has that solid, no-nonsense vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The lobby is clean and modern without trying too hard, and the staff actually seem to care about getting you settled in properly.

Location & Getting Around

Stuttgart‘s Plieningen neighborhood might not be the first area that comes to mind when planning a city visit, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re about 15 minutes from the city center by S-Bahn, which runs frequently enough that you won’t be checking your watch constantly. The area itself is surprisingly pleasant — more residential than touristy, which means you get a real feel for how locals live. There’s a decent bakery just down the street, and I found myself grabbing coffee there most mornings instead of rushing into the city center. The neighborhood offers authentic local experiences without the typical tourist crowds.

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment here feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, which is exactly what you want for longer stays. The kitchen setup is actually functional — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. I mean, you’ve got proper counter space and real dishes, so you can cook something decent if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The living area flows nicely into the sleeping space, and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time. This thoughtful layout makes extended stays genuinely comfortable.

Practical Matters

The parking situation is refreshingly straightforward — no circling the block or paying ridiculous fees. WiFi actually works throughout the building, which shouldn’t be noteworthy but somehow still is in 2024. Housekeeping comes by regularly without being intrusive, and they’re pretty flexible if you need to adjust the schedule. The whole place runs smoothly without making a big deal about it, which I appreciate more than flashy amenities that don’t work properly.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it handles the balance between independence and service. You get the space and freedom of having your own place, but with the backup of hotel amenities when you need them. Couples seem to particularly enjoy the setup — there’s something nice about having a proper living space where you can actually relax together instead of being cramped in a standard hotel room. The recent guests have been rating the location highly, and after spending time here, I get it. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to the city but not overwhelmed by it.

  Plain looking hotel but with all the practical necessities in place . Everything was clean , beds were specially comfortable , and rooms and enough space . And free parking always feels friendly and welcoming . Good value for money . Will stay again if I happen to be around that area

  Large rooms with little kitchen and comfortable facilities. Located in a small village outside of Stuttgart. Perfect if you want to have a sleep before heading to the airport.
