Hotel Description

First Impressions

Walking into B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Airport/Messe, you immediately get that sense of relief every traveler knows — this place just works. It’s one of those three-star hotels that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, but honestly does everything really well. The lobby feels fresh and modern without being sterile, and the staff actually seem happy to see you, which isn’t always a given at airport hotels. You know what struck me most? How quiet it was inside, despite being so close to both the airport and the trade fair grounds.

Location That Actually Makes Sense

Here’s the thing about Möhringen — most people just think “airport district,” but it’s actually a pretty smart base for exploring Stuttgart. The hotel sits right on Zettachring, which means you’re literally minutes from Stuttgart Airport and the Messe exhibition center, but you’re also well-connected to the city center by S-Bahn. I mean, couples consistently rate this location 8.4 out of 10, and after staying here, I get why. You can catch an early flight without the usual 5 AM panic, or if you’re here for business at the Messe, you could practically walk there. Plus, there’s something refreshing about staying in a residential area rather than some soulless airport strip.

The Room Experience

The rooms at B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Airport/Messe are what I’d call intelligently designed — everything you need, nothing you don’t. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-brochure comfortable), and the bathrooms are compact but well thought out. What really impressed me was the soundproofing — despite being near flight paths, I barely heard any aircraft noise. The decor is clean and contemporary, with pops of color that keep things from feeling too corporate. Actually, the rooms feel more like a good business hotel than your typical budget chain, which makes sense given that 8.2 rating.

Breakfast and Practical Touches

The continental buffet breakfast here is honestly better than it needs to be for a three-star property. Fresh pastries, decent coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. But what I really appreciated were the practical details — like having private parking right at the hotel, which is huge when you’re dealing with early flights or trade show equipment. The front desk staff know the local transport schedules by heart, and they’ll actually print your boarding passes without making it feel like a massive favor.

Why Guests Love It

There’s something to be said for a hotel that simply delivers on its promises without any fuss. B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Airport/Messe isn’t trying to wow you with fancy amenities or trendy design — it’s focused on being exactly what business travelers and smart tourists need. The combination of that excellent location rating, reliable service, and rooms that actually help you sleep well creates this perfect storm of satisfaction. Whether you’re catching a connection, attending a trade fair, or just want a peaceful base for exploring Stuttgart, this place gets the fundamentals so right that you’ll find yourself recommending it to others.

Perfect for a relaxing layover before heading to the airport. They also have a coffee and vending machine in the reception.

  • We have stayed here before as it’s a convenient stop from Europoort to the Alps. – Paul from United Kingdom – February 18, 2025 (9/10)

It’s a great location just off the motorway. Convenient for the airport I would imagine. It was clean and comfortable.

What could be improved: There isn’t a lot nearby. There is a pizza restaurant very close but it was shut on Sunday when we were the. Instead there was a German Cuisine restaurant not far away near the petrol station.

  • Good – Dmitrijs from Latvia – December 20, 2024 (7/10)

Good breakfast (a little expensive but very good besides)
Helpful staff (some struggle with English, but there's always another to help out with language barriers)

What could be improved: No fridge
The location is a little far from Stuttgart, but there is a train station that is close by (no problem for car users)

  • Enjoyed my stay, good base for Airport/city centre – Graeme from United Kingdom – July 11, 2024 (8/10)
