The building sits comfortably on Bernsteinstraße, and honestly, the whole area feels more like a residential neighborhood than a tourist zone — which is exactly what makes it special. This four-star property has that understated elegance that Germans do so well, where everything looks effortlessly put together without trying too hard to impress.

Location & Getting Around

Stuttgart is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but visitors often miss. You’re about 15 minutes from the city center by car, but the real advantage here is the peace and quiet. The hotel offers parking right on-site, which — trust me — is worth its weight in gold in this city. I mean, finding a parking spot in central Stuttgart can be a nightmare, so having your own guaranteed space is actually a huge relief. The area has a few local restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and you’ll see plenty of couples strolling around in the evenings.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this clean, modern German aesthetic that somehow manages to feel warm rather than sterile. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the furnishings strike that perfect balance between functional and comfortable. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details — good reading lights, enough outlets where you actually need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re playing Tetris every time you turn around. The beds are properly firm (this is Germany, after all), and the linens feel substantial without being heavy.

Service & Atmosphere

The staff here genuinely seem to care about what they’re doing, which you notice in little ways throughout your stay. They’re not overly chatty, but they’re incredibly helpful when you need something. The whole place has this calm, professional vibe that couples seem to really connect with — and honestly, I can see why. There’s something about the quieter setting and thoughtful service that makes it feel more intimate than those big chain hotels downtown. You know what I mean? It’s the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation in the lobby without competing with tour groups.

With a 9.2 rating, Bernstein clearly knows what it’s doing, and after staying there, I get it. The combination of that peaceful Sillenbuch location, reliable parking, and consistently good service creates something that’s hard to find in busier parts of the city.   It's an exceptionally clean and comfortable property. Mr George is an amazing person . Super cooperative. He helped us in every manner from reaching the property to buying groceries too. Apartment is as it is as described in pictures. Everything is clean. Neighborhood is calm and quite. There is Italian pizza restaurant few steps away. And a bakery also next to the apartment owned by a Turkish man for freshly baked goods. Train station is just 2 minutes walk. Grocery stores are just 4 minutes away. It's easy to reach city centre by train. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are comfy. Bathroom is bit small but it's fine.

  Accomodation looks even better when you arrive. The host is a really kind and generous person. The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood and has a good connection to the city of Stuttgart via public transport. All in all 100% worth it. Thank you once again the hospitalty.

  We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is very nicely equipped with everything you can think of. We did not miss anything. That was excellent. The communication with the owner was very easy and helpful. We entered the apartment using an app that the owner instructed us to install. We liked the location, not very close to the city centre, and therefore relaxed, but also within reach of public transport, which takes you to the city centre efficiently. There is also a restaurant nearby and many playgrounds for children in the vicinity. There is a designated private parking spot at a nearby parking lot, with a remote control provided with the key to the apartment. We did not use it, but it is definitely helpful to have. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely recommend it and return.
  
  What could be improved: The bedroom has no outside windows (there is a fan), but has windows to the other rooms. Therefore, anyone sleeping in the room can hear if people talk or watch TV outside. That was a minus for us. The apartment is located on the ground floor, and there are large windows and doors looking to the outside. There are shutters and curtains on all the windows that one can open or close, but when open, there is little privacy.

  Öncelikle ev çok temizdi. Georg birkaç saat önceden eve girmemize izin verdi ve bize ev ile ilgili detaylı bilgiler aktardı. Evin güvenliği de çok iyiydi, herşey otomatikti ve çok konforluydu. Sabah saat 8’de panjurlar otomatik açılıyor, akşam da kapanıyordu. Bir evde ihtiyacınız olan herşey vardı, en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüştü. Mutfak malzemelerinden, temizlik malzemelerine kadar herşey mevcuttu. Konum olarak ulaşıma çok yakındı. Yeşillik içinde çok güzel bir yerdeydi. Yakınında bir market vardı ve orada süt, ekmek, peynir, vb. temel ihtiyaç malzemeleri bulunmaktaydı. Ayrıca 10 dk yürüme mesafesinde Netto adlı alışveriş yeri ve yanında da bir fırın bulunmaktadır. Genel olarak çok güzel bir tatil geçirdik. Herkese tavsiye ederiz.
  
  What could be improved: Tesis, bulunduğu yer itibariyle biraz havasız ve ışık görmemekte, ancak Georg onu da düşünerek eve hava temizleme makinası koydurmuştu. Ev hava almadığı için biraz sıcak olduğu için klima, vantilatör vb. şeyler mevcuttur. Evin arka tarafı yeşilliğe baktığı için penceler açıldığı zaman bazı küçük böceklerle karşılaşma ihtimali oluyor. Pencerelere sineklik yapılsa tam dört dörtlük olur.

  地理位置非常好，周边环境很安全，离地铁站很近，附近有餐厅吃饭买面包都很方便，离超市也很近走路十分钟以内。房间里面设施非常齐全，咖啡机洗碗机洗衣机一应厨房用具都有，我们自己做饭非常方便，房东还贴心的提早买了咖啡粉和水给我们。房间都很干净整洁，我们出差住了九天八晚整体体验感非常好。下次有机会还可以订。一点小建议：如果下次厨房能帮中国人准备几双筷子那就更好了哈哈哈

• Tolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage – perfekt für Familien mit Kindern – Rebekkaleonhardt from Germany – June 11, 2023 (9/10)

  Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und super ausgestattet! Von Reinigungsmitteln, über Kaffee, Geschirr oder Büchern – es ist alles da, um den Urlaub zu erleichtern.
  Direkt nebenan sind zwei tolle Restaurants und ein guter Bäcker, der auch andere Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs anbietet. Vor der Haustür ist direkt ein netter kleiner Spielplatz. Im gesamten Wohngebiet verstecken sich überall tolle Spielplätze. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgt Problemlos und der Gastgeber ist sehr nett.
  Ein Toaster wäre noch toll gewesen.
  
  What could be improved: Der Grundriss der Wohnung ist eher ungewöhnlich. Dadurch liegt das Schlafzimmer innen und das Bett ist etwas schmal für 2 Personen. Aber mit den vielen Lichtern und Innenfenstern wird es trotzdem gemütlich.
