The lobby has this warm, welcoming vibe that feels distinctly German without being overly traditional, you know what I mean? It’s polished but approachable, which pretty much sums up the entire experience here.

Prime Stuttgart Location

The location is genuinely fantastic — I mean, couples rate it 9.1 out of 10, and after spending time in Stuttgart, I totally get why. You’re literally in Stuttgart-Mitte, which means you can walk to the main shopping areas, the opera house, and tons of restaurants without breaking a sweat. What I really appreciated was how quiet Kronenstrasse actually is despite being so central — it’s one of those side streets that feels residential but puts you minutes away from everything. The U-Bahn connections are right there too, so getting around the city or out to the airport is surprisingly easy.

The Rooms

My room was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star hotel — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked perfectly, which is honestly what matters most when you’re traveling. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are modern without feeling sterile. What struck me was the attention to small details — good lighting for actually reading, enough outlets in useful places, and windows that actually open, which you don’t always get in city hotels.

Breakfast and Dining

The breakfast buffet here is solid — not the most elaborate spread I’ve ever seen, but everything’s fresh and there’s enough variety to keep you happy. They do a particularly good job with the local breads and pastries, and the coffee is actually decent, which can be hit or miss at hotels. I appreciated that they had both international options and some distinctly German items, so you can ease into the local food scene or dive right in. The dining area gets good natural light in the morning, which makes starting your day feel less rushed.

  The location is very convenient for the Stuttgart city center. 5 minutes to main train station or to Schlossplatz. The area is also quiet, so you can get a good night of sleep. The staff is very friendly.

  This is an excellent example of why it is great to stay in a family run hotel. Staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was much better than most other hotels with lots of interesting and unusual dishes to choose from. Beautiful garden out the back to enjoy a quiet glass of wine in the evening. Room was very quiet at night so sleep quality was great. Next time we visit Stuttgart we will definitely stay here again.
