Hotel Description

First Impressions

Honestly, Hola Hotel Stuttgart caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know what I wasn’t expecting? Finding such a solid four-star hotel tucked away in Zuffenhausen — most people think of this area as just where Porsche has their headquarters, but there’s actually more going on here than you’d think. The moment I pulled up, I appreciated that they’ve got free parking right on site, which is honestly a godsend in Germany where hotel parking usually costs a small fortune. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone for the entire stay.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about staying in Zuffenhausen — you’re technically in Stuttgart, but you’re away from all the tourist chaos of the city center. I mean, it’s perfect if you’re visiting the Porsche Museum (literally a five-minute walk) or if you just want a quieter base while still having easy access to downtown. The S-Bahn connections are actually pretty decent from here, and you can get to the main train station in about 20 minutes. Plus, if you’re driving, you’re right off the main roads without dealing with inner-city traffic nightmares. The neighborhood feels safe and welcoming at all hours.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but everything worked exactly as it should. The beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept well, and the bathroom was modern with good water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in German hotels). What I really appreciated was the soundproofing — despite being near a main street, I barely heard any traffic noise. The Wi-Fi was reliable too, which matters when you’re trying to plan your next day’s adventures. The room layout maximizes space efficiently for both business and leisure travelers.

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast spread at their restaurant is pretty standard continental fare, but they do it well — fresh bread, decent coffee, and enough variety to fuel your morning. I wouldn’t call it spectacular, but it gets the job done without any complaints. The staff here are genuinely friendly, not just going through the motions, and they’re happy to give you directions or recommendations for the area. There’s also a small fitness area if you need to work off all that German food. The dining area itself is bright and inviting, making breakfast a pleasant start to each day.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the kind of place you’ll be posting Instagram photos of all day, but it’s exactly what you want when you need a reliable, comfortable base in Stuttgart. Couples seem to really appreciate the quieter location and the fact that you can actually park your car without stress. The 8.0 location rating from recent guests makes sense — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough away to actually relax. It’s one of those hotels that just works without any drama, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel delivers consistent quality and value.

Stuttgart’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with modern amenities, perfect for business travelers wanting to experience daily life in this technologically advanced German city.

Reviews

  • Price is great but you need to manage your expectations – Eglė from Lithuania – August 7, 2025 (8/10)

The room is newly done and big compared with rest options.

What could be improved: Keep in kind that there is a church next door, the bells are quite an issue for some. It starts at 6 am.
Doors are quite thin so you cam hear your neighbors and they can hear you.
Bathroom equipment is oldschool so expect that water will be running and wont stop or shower doors do not close fully.
For the price its amazing, just manage your expectations

  • Overall, it was cozy 3 nights stay. – Suman from Finland – May 13, 2025 (9/10)

Less than 15 minutes commute from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof and seems to be quite neighbourhood which I enjoyed.

What could be improved: No interaction with the host was something I don’t prefer personally. But I got sorted with my needs. So, no complain.

  • Very Good – Thomas from Germany – May 7, 2025 (8/10)

Room was very clean and had a big bath section. Bed was very comfortable.

What could be improved: The bell towers ringing was a bit distracting when trying to sleep, but nothing to complain about the room.

  • Wonderful – Mehret from Netherlands – October 28, 2024 (9/10)

    It is clean and comfortable.

What could be improved: No breakfast and refrigerator.

  • Good – Tomislav from Switzerland – June 21, 2024 (7/10)

Good location near S-bahn, very clean, nice firm bed.

What could be improved: There is only one key, so you have to arrange for your fellow traveller to come down to open main gate. Ok for one night, but keep in mind there is no fridge

  • Good – Zoe from Australia – May 21, 2024 (7/10)

Close to public transport to get around the city easily. Lots of food options close by too. There were no staff to greet you, but the check-in information was simple and efficient with lockboxes

What could be improved: Hotel is right next to a church with bells that ring every 15 minutes from 6am until 10pm. The rooms have very little soundproofing, so don't expect to sleep in.

  • Wonderful – Artur from Portugal – February 28, 2024 (9/10)

Excellent location with all comodoties near by, awsome bakery for breakfast a few steps away, lot´s of option for lunch or dinner all reachable on foot,. Very quite and charming neighborhood. The hotel is cosy, the rooms are spacious very warm in the cold german weather and most of all Lola is a very friendly and dedicated host always available for any request you might have, don´t expect 5* star hotel but rather kind of being home away. Nicely done Hola! Thanks Lola!

What could be improved: Honestly couldn´t expect anything else for the value, maybe breakfast availabilty but anyway the options near by are so good that we didn´t mind at all.

  • Good – Diana from Germany – November 13, 2023 (7/10)

    Accessible by metro. Renovated hotel.

What could be improved: Reception till 6pm. There was no kettle as indicated on the Booking description.

  • No front desk. Overwhelming paint fumes. – Kevin from Germany – June 7, 2024 (3/10)

Room was clean and nicely furnished.

What could be improved: No front desk. Overwhelming paint fumes. I checked out a day early because of that and no offer of a refund. There was nobody there.

  • Very good bed and spacious room 😍 – Nashwan from Croatia – March 23, 2024 (10/10)

Very spacious room, clean, quiet, good location, and very comfortable bed!

What could be improved: Only the price. And i unfortunately all hotels have high prices in that area.
