Hotel Description
First Impressions
The ibis Styles Stuttgart Vaihingen sits on a quiet street in the Vaihingen district, and honestly, it’s one of those places that surprises you in the best way. This three-star hotel doesn’t try to be something it’s not — instead, it nails the essentials while adding thoughtful touches that make your stay genuinely comfortable. The modern facade hints at what’s inside: clean lines, bright spaces, and that particular ibis Styles energy that feels both professional and welcoming.
Location & Getting Around
Vaihingen might not be the first district tourists think of, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re close enough to central Stuttgart without dealing with the noise and crowds, and the S-Bahn connections are solid — I mean, you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes. What I really appreciate is how couples seem to love this spot (they consistently rate the location over 8 out of 10), probably because it strikes that perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. There’s parking right at the hotel too, which anyone who’s driven in German cities will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
The Room Experience
The room design follows that signature ibis Styles approach — colorful, functional, and surprisingly spacious for what you’re paying. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and the bathrooms are modern with decent water pressure. You know what I noticed? The soundproofing is actually quite good, which matters when you’re trying to get a proper night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi works reliably throughout the building, and there are enough power outlets that you won’t be playing musical chairs with your devices.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is where the hotel really shines — they’ve got this buffet spread that covers all the bases without feeling overwhelming. There are solid vegetarian options alongside the usual continental fare, and the coffee is actually drinkable (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given). The restaurant area has this bright, airy feel that makes morning meals pleasant rather than rushed. I’ve seen families and business travelers alike seem genuinely satisfied with what’s on offer, which tells you something about the variety and quality.
Why Guests Love It
Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart — the repeat guest rate is notably higher than most other properties in the area. That’s not marketing speak; that’s people voting with their wallets and coming back. The staff seems to recognize returning visitors, and there’s this sense that they’re genuinely trying to make your stay work smoothly. Recent guests consistently rate the location highly (8.3 out of 10), and when you combine that with reliable service and fair pricing, you start to understand why this ibis Styles has built such a loyal following. It’s not flashy, but it delivers on its promises consistently.
The concierge service in Stuttgart can arrange exclusive factory tours, secure ballet tickets, and organize visits to nearby Black Forest and Swabian wine regions.

The staff were very helpful after we could not park in the car park. Due to our car numberplate could not be recognised by the cameras, so we had to park at staff car park which was closer for us. Very clean rooms.
What could be improved: The bins just near the hotel going towards the tram line are very unattractive, they where full af stuff and smelly. It's not on the hotel premises but not giving any justice to the place.lvery good – Domingo from United Kingdom – August 4, 2025 (8/10)
