Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked into Le Méridien Stuttgart, I wasn’t expecting much – you know how it is with business hotels in city centers. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s right on Willy-Brandt-Straße, which puts you smack in the middle of everything without the tourist chaos you’d find closer to Königstraße. The lobby has this sleek, modern vibe that feels more like an upscale lounge than a typical hotel entrance, and I mean that in a good way – there’s something about the lighting and those oversized art pieces that makes you want to linger with a coffee.
What really won me over was how they’ve nailed the details that business travelers (and honestly, anyone who’s picky about hotels) actually care about. The rooms are spacious by European standards, and I’m talking genuinely comfortable, not just “well, it’s bigger than a closet” comfortable. The beds are fantastic – I’m usually a light sleeper, but I slept like a rock even though you’re right in the city center. Speaking of which, you’d expect more street noise given the location, but the windows do their job surprisingly well. The bathroom situation is solid too, with a proper shower that has decent water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled through Germany knows isn’t always a given.
One thing I really appreciated – and this might sound small, but it matters – is that the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to the Staatsgalerie, the concierge didn’t just point me toward a taxi but mentioned it’s a pleasant 10-minute walk through the pedestrian zone, and that Thursday evenings they stay open late. That’s the kind of local insight you want. The hotel’s restaurant is honestly better than it needs to be for a business hotel, though I’d still recommend wandering over to Bohnenviertel for dinner if you want the real Stuttgart experience. Location-wise, you’re a quick walk to the main shopping area, easy access to the U-Bahn, and if you’re driving, the parking situation is actually manageable (which, let’s be real, is half the battle in any German city center). It’s not cheap, but for a 5-star place in this part of town, the quality matches what you’re paying for. I’d definitely stay here again.

Reviews
Very Good – Simon from United Kingdom – July 28, 2025 (8/10)
We loved the atmosphere walking in, the reception team was great and very welcoming.
The pool and spa area are something special.
The park across the road is a fantastic place to go for a walk and relax in greenery.
What could be improved: A little down on cleanliness as I found a couple of hair in the bathroom at arrival. Also the carpet, feels a little worn and dirty.
Breakfast felt rushed and the table was a little brittle.
The TV was not a smart TV so couldn't watch our favourite show.Comfortable, very welcoming staff, excellent breakfast. Hotel is effectively on a ring road- not much around it but not – Elie from United Kingdom – July 3, 2025 (7/10)
Location was ok. 7 minutes walk from the main train station. The breakfast was excellent. The staff extremely helpful and welcoming.
What could be improved: The complementary bottles of water (one sparkling and 1 still) were only 0.5l, could have done with larger bottles, they were replenished daily. There is nothing right next to the hotel. It overlooks a main road. Getting to the hotel from the train station requires negotiating 2 flights of stairs, crossing a footbridge then going down a flight of stairs at the other end.Excellent stay in the centre of town in a rather grand hotel with courteous staff and a great pool – Laurie from United Kingdom – June 26, 2025 (9/10)
A very comfortable and well appointed hotel within a short walk of the station. Very good sized room and an excellent pool and spa.
What could be improved: Not much. The room decor was a little tired but it was still large, comfortable, clean and appealing.Wonderful – Helal from United Arab Emirates – June 22, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: NothingExcellent hotel with an upmarket feel – Foti from Australia – June 21, 2025 (9/10)
Room was comfortable in size & appreciated the bath tub facility. Hotel is beautiful internally & well fitted out. The bar was also a great place to enjoy a drink with great service.
What could be improved: We arrived by rail, so the only way to get to the hotel was by walking. Due to the construction work & the stairs in between, this was very tiring & difficult. This also caused an inconvenience for the Uber + taxis who were diverted to get there. We also felt that the location did not offer too much other options for us to enjoy.Very Good – András from Hungary – June 16, 2025 (8/10)
excellent breakfast, excellent bed and pillows, great lights and mirrors in bathrroom
