Poststraße puts you right in this sweet spot where you’re away from the tourist chaos but still connected to everything that matters. I walked to the main train station in maybe fifteen minutes, and there’s this great little bakery two blocks down that locals actually use (you’ll smell the bread before you see it). The neighborhood has that lived-in feeling – kids playing in small parks, people walking dogs, actual grocery stores instead of just souvenir shops. It’s refreshing, actually. The apartments themselves surprised me too – whoever manages this place clearly gets that travelers want space to breathe. The rooms feel more like temporary homes than hotel boxes, with proper kitchenettes that you’d actually want to use. I made coffee there every morning and it didn’t feel like I was camping out with a hot plate, if you know what I mean.

What really sold me was the attention to small things. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (I tested it because, well, I always do), and they’ve got this check-in process that doesn’t make you feel like you’re interrupting someone’s day. The whole place runs quietly – no slamming doors at 2 AM or elevator music that makes you want to take the stairs. I slept better there than I have at fancier places, honestly. The 8.8 rating makes total sense when you experience it. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. You get the feeling that people return here not because it’s the cheapest option, but because it just works. Stuttgart can be tricky for accommodations – too central and you’re paying tourist prices for tiny rooms, too far out and you spend half your day commuting. This hits that perfect middle ground where you feel connected to the city’s actual rhythm without the headaches.

  What could be improved: Bed is advertised “extra large” but I suppose it’s a 160cm wide one, acceptable for a couple

  – Bed is difficult to accomodate a small child to sleep between us, being narrow
  – Bed is too tall for children, having the risk pf falling off
  – sockets are not child-proof, there is no protection

  The inside was very nice. The apartment was nice too. Seemed pretty new.
  
  What could be improved: The outside area had a business park feel and wasn’t kept up too nice. There was some miscommunication about when we could check in, but it worked out.

  What could be improved: The pillows were sparse and not very filled, so getting comfortable like home was more challenging. We had only five coffee pods for five days and two people. Same with shampoo and bath soap. The little bottles weren’t adequate for our fill stay.

  The apartment was gorgeous, super clean and cozy. It was perfect for 2. I really liked and enjoyed my stay there. The staff were friendly as well, they helped me with the check in and check out.
  Moreover, it had an amazing and relaxing park nearby where you could spend a peaceful afternoon and the city centre was not that far away.
  I totally recommend this property and will definitely come back there in the future in case I visit Stuttgart again (most probably because I loved the city).
