Hotel Description
First Impressions
Walking into Rioca Stuttgart Posto 4, you immediately get the sense that this four-star hotel knows exactly what it’s doing. The lobby has this clean, contemporary vibe that feels fresh without trying too hard — honestly, it’s the kind of place where you can tell they’ve put thought into every detail. Located in the Zuffenhausen district of Stuttgart, it might not be right in the city center, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough away to feel like you’re staying somewhere with its own personality.
The Zuffenhausen Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — Zuffenhausen isn’t just some random suburb. This is Porsche territory, and you can feel that automotive heritage in the air. The hotel sits perfectly positioned for exploring both the local attractions and getting into Stuttgart proper when you want the city buzz. What really struck me is how couples seem to gravitate toward this spot — there’s something about the neighborhood that just works for romantic getaways. The streets are quieter here, but you’re not isolated, you know? It’s that sweet spot where you can actually have a conversation while walking around in the evening.
Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this modern, minimalist design that somehow managed to feel cozy rather than sterile. The beds are seriously comfortable — I mean, hotel beds can be hit or miss, but these are definitely in the hit category. What I appreciated most was the attention to lighting; they’ve got it figured out so you’re not fumbling around in harsh overhead lights or squinting in dim corners. The bathrooms are well-designed too, with good water pressure (always a relief when you’re traveling) and quality fixtures that feel substantial.
Breakfast Worth Getting Up For
Okay, so I’m usually pretty skeptical about hotel breakfasts, but this one actually impressed me. They’ve got this buffet setup that covers all the bases — continental options, vegetarian choices, vegan selections, and even gluten-free items. It’s not just about checking boxes though; the quality is genuinely good. The coffee is strong enough to wake you up properly, and they have local breads and pastries that give you a real taste of the region. I found myself lingering over breakfast longer than usual, which is always a good sign.
Why Guests Love It
The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — having private parking available on-site is honestly a game-changer when you’re dealing with German cities. But beyond the practical stuff, there’s something about the overall experience here that just clicks. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, and the hotel has this confident, understated quality that makes you feel like you’ve made a smart choice. Recent guests consistently rate the location highly, and after staying here, I get why — it’s that perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility that’s surprisingly hard to find.

What could be improved: Very good hotelGreat choice nearby Porsche Museum – Carolina from Netherlands – August 6, 2025 (9/10)
Super clean, new and comfortable.
What could be improved: The €19 breakfast is expensive for a family with teens. The €19 parking is also high considering that parking on the street is much cheaper.Exceptional – Marin from United Kingdom – August 4, 2025 (10/10)

Conveniently located near the Porsche museum. Everything clean and tidy and adorable.
Can’t ask more and it’s a bang for the buck.
What could be improved: Probably the private parking is priced a little higher with the abundance of affordable street parking nearby.Great! – Lai from Norway – July 28, 2025 (10/10)
Room – perfect and comfortable. Also, there is great breakfast. All of the staffs there are nice people. You can pay for a convenient park.
Rio in the middle of Stuttgart – Rian from Switzerland – July 23, 2025 (10/10)
I really. liked the cocktails they served at the bar downstairs. 😉 The hotel is Brazilian themed and run by a portugese speaking staff. The staff was very friendly and dog friendly. The room was more than a room. It had cooking facilites, a microwave and a reasonably large fridge.
What could be improved: It was quite hot when we visited. So, the air-conditioning had trouble keeping up with the heat.
