I mean, when you’re climbing up to the second floor of this unassuming building on Hausenring, you might wonder if you’re in the right spot. But once you get inside apartment 19, it all makes sense.

The location in Weilimdorf is actually pretty smart if you know Stuttgart at all. Sure, it’s not right in the city center, but that’s kind of the point – you’re away from the tourist crowds and staying where actual locals live. The S-Bahn connection into the main city is really straightforward, and there’s this authentic neighborhood feel you just don’t get in the typical hotel districts. I noticed there are proper German bakeries within walking distance (the kind where they still speak limited English and make incredible pretzels), plus you’ve got supermarkets and cafes that aren’t marked up for tourists. The area gets genuinely quiet in the evenings – something you’d never find near Königstrasse or the Hauptbahnhof.

What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything is for what’s essentially a 3-star setup. The air conditioning works properly (and believe me, during Stuttgart’s summer months, that matters more than you’d think), the space feels larger than typical European apartments, and there’s this attention to practical details that suggests the owners actually understand what travelers need. The building itself is typical German residential – solid, no-nonsense construction where you can barely hear your neighbors. Parking in this part of Stuttgart can be tricky, but the residential streets around Hausenring usually have spots if you’re patient. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly formal hotel reception experience, just clear instructions and everything worked as promised. I’d say the 9-point rating makes perfect sense when you consider it’s delivering exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. If you want a genuine local experience in Stuttgart with reliable basics and easy city access, this kind of residential apartment setup beats the generic hotel chains every time.

  The apartment it’s great and located at second floor. Cozy and clean. Owner provided free drink in the fridge. There is washing machine with everything you need to stay for a couple days.
