Hotel Description

First Impressions

Walking up to S-AN Daily Room Stuttgart Zentrum, you’ll notice it doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This four-star property sits quietly on Gablenberger Hauptstraße in Stuttgart-Ost, blending into the neighborhood like it belongs there. The entrance feels more like stepping into a well-designed apartment building than a traditional hotel, which actually sets the tone perfectly for what you’ll find inside.

Location & Neighborhood

Stuttgart-Ost is one of those districts that locals love but tourists often overlook, and that’s exactly why staying here works so well. You’re close enough to the city center that getting around is easy, but far enough out that you’ll experience Stuttgart like someone who actually lives here. The area has this nice residential feel with plenty of cafes and local shops within walking distance. Couples seem to get this location particularly well — they consistently rate it nearly 9 out of 10, and I can see why. It’s got that sweet spot vibe where you feel connected to the city without being in the thick of tourist crowds.

The Rooms

The “daily room” concept here is pretty clever, actually. Each space feels more like a well-appointed studio apartment than a hotel room, with clean lines and thoughtful touches that make longer stays comfortable. The design leans modern without being cold — you know, the kind of place where you can actually relax and spread out your stuff. What I appreciate most is how they’ve managed to fit everything you need without the space feeling cramped. The bathrooms are particularly well done, with good water pressure and enough counter space that you’re not playing Tetris with your toiletries.

Getting Around

Here’s something that matters more than you might think — the public transport connections from this area are solid. You can reach Stuttgart’s main attractions without much fuss, but you’re also positioned well for exploring some of the city’s lesser-known gems. The neighborhood itself is walkable, which means you can grab groceries, find a decent coffee, or just wander around getting a feel for how Stuttgart residents actually live. It’s the kind of location that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere rather than just passing through.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.3 rating tells part of the story, but what really stands out is how this place manages to feel both professional and personal. You get the reliability and cleanliness you expect from an upscale hotel, but with a more intimate scale that bigger properties can’t match. The staff seems to actually know their guests, and the whole operation runs smoothly without feeling corporate. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own little corner of Stuttgart — close enough to everything that matters, but tucked away enough that you can pretend you’re temporary locals rather than obvious tourists.

Reviews

  • Very Good – Kayali from France – July 22, 2025 (8/10)

The room was spacious, and very luminous. The kitchen and the facilities were very good. Very clean.

What could be improved: Check in and check out a bit difficult, you need to call the guy and another guy opens you the box. (not a big deal but can be stressful if you have a train or a bus to catch).
The kitchen lacks utilities (oil, etc.)
Nobody cleans the room (we only stayed 2 nights).

  • Our best room with the best price – Gerry from Austria – October 24, 2024 (9/10)

We booked 1 room with balcony (the 5th slide photos on with Blue face picture). It's a big room with big bathroom, TV, and fridge. It's bigger than some room in other hotels. Everything is clean and the cupboard has the safety box inside. There is also communal kitchen for the whole 4 rooms with complete cutlery, microwave, water dispenser, stove, cooking utensils, dishwashing soap, kettle, toaster and free coffee sachets. We loved spending our 4 days in this place.

What could be improved: The WiFi is the only downside. No signal detected in our phones.

  • Wonderful – Taras from Ukraine – September 28, 2024 (9/10)

Nice apartment, great view from the balcony.

What could be improved: Too weak WiFi.

  • Wonderful – Jonathan from Germany – June 7, 2024 (9/10)

    easy and clear comunication

  • Wonderful – Tobias from Germany – February 2, 2024 (9/10)

Except for the WiFi the apartment was top notch considering the price. Spotless clean, comfy bed, clean shared kitchen with stove and microwave as well as cutlery so it's possible to cook.

What could be improved: WiFi has decent speeds at 25-75 Mbit, but very frequent disconnects. In the evening we had disconnects roughly every 2 minutes.

  • The stay was superb but could have been better with guidance for parking and breakfast. – Ram from India – November 21, 2023 (9/10)

The room was quite spacious and overlooking the city road. The kitchen amenities were sehr gut.

What could be improved: Parking was a hassle here. If the host knew Englisch she could have guided me better for things like parking, breakfast etc.

  • Good choice – Laura from Romania – September 29, 2023 (9/10)

    Nice room, friendly owner.

What could be improved: Check out too early (10am)

  • Wonderful – Aya from Netherlands – May 31, 2023 (9/10)

It was great, clean, comfortable bed, good shower.

What could be improved: We did not expect it to be a 30 minute walk uphill from the station.

  • Wonderful – Halyna from Czech Republic – March 10, 2023 (9/10)

Everything was good. Thank you Marco for helping with parking!

  • Wonderful – Mukonda – October 16, 2022 (9/10)

    It was good in everything
