You know what caught me off guard about Stuttgart Lux Living? The name sounds a bit pretentious, honestly, but the place actually delivers on the “stylish living” promise without being stuffy about it. I mean, you’re right on Hegelstraße in Stuttgart-Nord, which puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to the city center in about fifteen minutes, but you’re not dealing with all the tourist chaos around Königstraße.

The apartments here – and they really do feel like apartments, not hotel rooms – have this clean, minimalist thing going on that somehow feels warm instead of cold. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some spätzle one evening), and the living spaces give you room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in a shoebox. What I really appreciated was the attention to little details – good lighting for reading, decent water pressure in the shower, and windows that actually block out street noise. Speaking of noise, Hegelstraße can get a bit busy during rush hour, but it settles down nicely in the evenings.

The location is where this place really shines, though you won’t realize it until you start exploring. You’re a quick walk to the Weißenhof Estate if you’re into architecture, and the S-Bahn connections are ridiculously convenient – Nordbahnhof station is right there, so getting to the airport or other parts of the city is painless. I found myself grabbing groceries at the REWE just down the street and coffee at this little café on Rosenbergstraße that the front desk recommended (they actually know the neighborhood, which isn’t always a given). Parking can be tricky on the street, but they’ve got arrangements that work out fine if you’re driving. The 8.5 rating makes sense – it’s not perfect, but the few rough edges are minor stuff like the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty in one corner of my room and check-in being slightly chaotic when I arrived during what seemed to be a busy changeover day. But the staff sorted everything out quickly, and honestly, staying here felt more like borrowing a friend’s well-designed apartment than dealing with typical hotel stuffiness.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Stuttgart at least two months ahead for major events like auto exhibitions or ballet season, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near attractions.

  Extremely well-equipped, easy check-in/out process, safe and secure, parking directly outside at a very fair price, lots of storage for those having lengthy stays. Very well-furnished and feels lived-in instead of a temporary residence. Brilliant communication from the owner.

  The location was great. There are supermarkets (Penny and Rewe) close by (aprox 5 min walk), a park and bus and metro stations also really close (5-7 min walk).
  The design of the apartment is great.
  Also, our host, Markus, was very nice and quick to respond.
  For instance, we had a problem and had to message him at aprox 10 p.m. and he called us and helped solve our problem.

  We had a brilliant time at this apartment!
  The location was ideal, making it effortless to reach all the major sights and spots we wanted to explore. Inside, the place was stylish, clean, cozy, and outfitted with everything we needed—truly well equipped.

  We loved this apartment. Very well appointed with high quality and very comfortable furnishings. Great bathroom & heaps of storage space. Really appreciated the extra touches, like coffee pods. Loved the separate kitchen and gold cutlery & accessories. Excellent communication with the host. Everything you could want.

  I loved the location and the rooms. Having a kitchen is great! Having an easy entry and exit and not worry about losing the key is important.
