I was honestly expecting another cookie-cutter business hotel when I rolled up to Hauptstr. 26 in Vaihingen, but this place actually has some personality. The lobby hits you with this clean, modern vibe that doesn’t feel sterile – there’s warmth to it, maybe it’s the lighting or the way they’ve arranged the seating areas, but it works.

Here’s the thing about staying in Vaihingen that most people don’t realize until they’re here – you’re technically outside Stuttgart’s city center, but the S-Bahn connection is so solid that you’re actually better positioned than some “central” hotels. I mean, you can be at the Hauptbahnhof in like 15 minutes, and honestly, the whole area around the hotel feels more relaxed than the busy downtown streets. There’s a decent bakery just down the street (grab coffee there in the morning if you’re an early riser), and the University of Stuttgart campus is practically next door, which gives the neighborhood this nice energy without being overwhelming. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – not fancy, but everything works exactly like it should. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The soundproofing is pretty good too, which matters since Hauptstraße can get a bit busy during the day.

What really sold me on this place was the staff – they seem to genuinely know the area and aren’t just reading from a script when you ask for recommendations. When I mentioned I was looking for a good dinner spot, the front desk guy steered me toward this little Italian place about ten minutes’ walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise. The breakfast setup is solid without being fancy – fresh bread, decent coffee, and they actually have some local items mixed in with the standard hotel fare. I’ll be honest, the 7.9 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away, but it does everything well without any major frustrations. The parking situation is straightforward (there’s a garage), check-in was smooth, and the whole experience just felt… easy, I guess, which makes sense given the name. If you’re coming to Stuttgart for business or just want a reliable base without paying city center prices, this spot in Vaihingen actually makes a lot of sense.

  A great stop with a car when coming up the Adritic. Convenient. Easy parking. A/C but great views blocked, i am told, by City Council denying permission to cut back trees blocking views from the 3 story building

  Excellent breakfast, and breakfast staff was very friendly and professional. Sizeable, comfortable room with excellent storage space for luggage and belongings. Convenient underground parking (but note: it's 17 Euro/night extra for parking).
  
  What could be improved: Wifi was effectively unavailable in rooms, which is unacceptable for a modern hotel in 2025. In the breakfast area, Wifi worked fine. I would have given the hotel higher marks if the Wifi worked, but I had to leave as I was on business and it was impossible to take calls over Wifi in the rooms.

  Staff was top notch, made sure the stay was great. Especially Natalie but also Angela, Noah, and Selena. Value for cost was great. The place could use a little sprucing up and maybe new carpet/paint, but the rooms were large for the price and the bed was very comfortable. Location was top for my needs, many restaurants and shops very nearby. Parking was secure, breakfast was another great value for the money. Again, cannot say enough goo things about the staff, absolutely the best! Professional and helpful throughout my stay.

  Very comfortable modern hotel. We chose it because it was easy to get to the airport yet was only a short train ride to the centre. Quite a few restaurants and bars close by. The breakfast was good.

  One of my fav hotels. Great location in Vaihingen which is close to lots of good local places to eat. Easy parking, and the apartment rooms are good for long stays.
