So I ended up at the ACHAT Hotel Stuttgart Zuffenhausen on Wollinstraße, and honestly? It’s one of those places that grows on you. First impression was pretty standard 3-star stuff – nothing fancy, but everything felt solid and well-maintained. The lobby’s got this understated German efficiency vibe going on, which I mean, you’re in Stuttgart, so that tracks.

What actually surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re practically next door to the Porsche factory. I thought I’d be hearing machinery all hours, but the rooms are decently soundproofed – though if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs just in case. The location is honestly perfect if you’re doing the whole automotive pilgrimage thing. You can literally walk to the Porsche Museum in about ten minutes, and the Mercedes-Benz Museum is just a quick S-Bahn ride away. Speaking of which, the Zuffenhausen station is right there – maybe a five-minute walk? – which makes getting into Stuttgart’s city center pretty painless.

The rooms themselves are… well, they’re fine. Clean, functional, decent-sized bathroom. Nothing Instagram-worthy, but you know what? Sometimes you just want a comfortable bed and reliable WiFi after spending all day geeking out over cars. The breakfast was actually better than I expected – proper German bread, good coffee, and they had those little jars of Nutella which always makes me unreasonably happy. Staff was friendly enough, though don’t expect chatty concierge service – this is more of a “here’s your key, elevator’s to the left” kind of place. The parking situation is pretty straightforward too, which if you’ve driven in Stuttgart, you’ll appreciate not having to circle around looking for a spot. I noticed they get a lot of business travelers and car enthusiasts (overheard some very passionate conversations about engine specs at breakfast), so it can feel a bit corporate during weekdays, but weekends are more relaxed. That 7.4 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away, but it does exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises.

  Location for us was good, near food shop, but it's a industrial area and close to the Porsche museum.
  
  What could be improved: Problems with parking as first night we have to leave a car on the street at area for the bus and take a risk to be fined, but we were lucky, nothing happens and we find a place on the street. The room window very small and you can reach a trees with hands, also frogs concert is easy to hear:)

  What could be improved: The rooms overlooking the fast food parking are very noisy at night and they get really hot during the summer. The pictures of the rooms do not correspond to the reality.
