Hotel Description
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Azenberg on Seestraße, you immediately get the sense that this four-star property knows what it’s doing. The building has that solid, understated German elegance — nothing flashy, but everything feels purposeful and well-maintained. I mean, when couples are rating the location 8.2 out of 10, you know you’re in the right spot in Stuttgart-Nord. The hotel’s exterior architecture reflects the sophisticated character of the Stuttgart-Nord district, with clean lines and quality materials that speak to German craftsmanship standards.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this area — you’re close enough to Stuttgart’s center that getting around is easy, but far enough north that you’re not dealing with all the tourist chaos. The Seestraße location actually puts you near some great local spots that most visitors never discover. You’ve got the lake nearby (hence the street name), and honestly, it’s one of those neighborhoods where you can just walk around and stumble onto cafes that locals frequent. The parking situation is handled right at the hotel, which — trust me — is a huge relief in Stuttgart. Public transportation connections from this area are excellent, with regular tram and bus services connecting you to Stuttgart’s main business districts and cultural attractions.
Your Room Experience
The rooms here strike that perfect balance between functional and comfortable. Nothing overly fancy, but everything works exactly as it should. The room I stayed in had this clean, modern German design aesthetic — lots of natural light, decent storage space, and a bathroom that actually had enough counter space for your stuff. You know what impressed me most? The attention to small details, like having proper reading lights and outlets where you actually need them. Each space feels thoughtfully designed for the modern traveler, with ergonomic furniture and climate control systems that maintain optimal comfort throughout your stay.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
Okay, so the breakfast spread here is genuinely impressive. They’ve got everything covered — continental options, full English if that’s your thing, plus vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The buffet setup is well-organized, and they actually replenish things regularly (you’d be surprised how many places don’t). I found myself trying different combinations each morning, and honestly, it set a good tone for exploring the city. The quality and variety really stand out, with fresh local ingredients and international options that cater to diverse guest preferences from around the world.
Why Guests Love It
With an 8.5 rating, Hotel Azenberg clearly gets the fundamentals right. Recent guests have been particularly vocal about the location — and after staying there, I get it. You’re positioned perfectly for both business and leisure travel, with easy access to Stuttgart’s main attractions without being stuck in the thick of everything. The staff seems to understand that travelers want efficiency and friendliness in equal measure, and they deliver on both fronts. It’s the kind of place where you check in, settle into your routine quickly, and focus on why you came to Stuttgart in the first place. This hotel consistently exceeds expectations with professional service standards and attention to guest satisfaction that creates memorable experiences for every visitor.

Personal was very friendly, we had a nice and clean room. The breakfast was with a big variety, fresh and tasty. Bed were comfortable. The pool was sadly a bit too cold to use. There was a sauna and also a little gym to use aswell.
What could be improved: Don't trust Google maps, if you are coming from main station, there is shortcut thru the hospitalGreat weekend stay, totally recommended! – Danycowboy08 from Switzerland – June 16, 2025 (10/10)

Only stayed for one night and chose this hotel due to it's locality to Kräherwald parkrun but would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to visit Stuttgart. Firstly the welcome we received was by far the warmest welcome I have ever experienced in a hotel reception, the lady that checked us in was so nice and took time to show us around the facilities and make us feel welcome.
The room, although small was well furnished, comfortable and clean. We ate in the rear garden of the hotel, the serving staff were very attentive and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. We had planned to use the swimming pool before leaving but didn't have time however we did go down and check out the facilities and it was all very clean and well maintained.
I would highly recommend this hotel for value for money, comfort and friendliness.
What could be improved: Only gripe for me is the €8 charge for parking but I suppose you can't have everything.
