Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Limehome Stuttgart on Elsenhansstraße, I wasn’t expecting much. The building has this modern, almost industrial look that could go either way, you know? But once you get inside, it’s actually pretty impressive. These aren’t your typical hotel rooms – they’re more like sleek apartment-style suites with kitchenettes that actually work (I mean, the induction cooktop heats up faster than most restaurants).

The location is honestly one of those hidden gems that locals know about but tourists usually miss. You’re in Feuerbach, which sounds way more dramatic than it actually is – it’s just this quiet residential area that’s perfectly connected to everything without the tourist chaos. The S-Bahn station is maybe a seven-minute walk, and from there you can hit Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof in about fifteen minutes. What I really appreciated was being able to grab groceries at the Rewe just down the street and actually cook something decent instead of living off hotel breakfast and overpriced room service. Plus, there’s this little Turkish place around the corner that does incredible döner – the kind of spot you’d never find staying in the city center.

The rooms themselves feel surprisingly spacious, with these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light (though if you’re a light sleeper, definitely use the blackout curtains – German summer sunrises start ridiculously early). Everything’s got this minimalist Scandinavian vibe going on, which works well even if it’s not the coziest. The Wi-Fi actually delivers on speed, the shower pressure is solid, and – this might sound weird – but the beds are perfectly firm without feeling like you’re sleeping on concrete. Check-in was completely contactless through their app, which felt a bit impersonal at first but honestly saved so much time, especially after a long flight. The only minor gripe I had was that the air circulation could be better; it gets a bit stuffy if you keep the windows closed, but crack one open and you’re fine. For what you pay, especially compared to the boutique places downtown, it’s solid value – particularly if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want that extra space to spread out.

Reviews

  • Very nice – Theodora from Romania – May 25, 2025 (8/10)

Nice, comfortable, cozy accommodation. Clean enough. Wi-Fi worked fine. The beds were comfortable enough. The balcony offered us an amazing view of Stuttgart. Location is nice and quiet, close to the U-bahn and several supermarkets and restaurants.

What could be improved: The kitchen could really use a microwave oven.

  • Wonderful – Franziska from Germany – February 18, 2025 (9/10)

Clean, new, pretty interior. Spacious. Easy self check in. Kitchen much appreciated

What could be improved: The Fan in the bathroom is very noisy and can't be switched off at night

  • Would stay with limehome again – Lulu from Singapore – December 28, 2024 (9/10)

Convenient check in and check out, nice and clean place!

What could be improved: There was a spider in the room

  • Wonderful – Neeraja from Germany – August 4, 2024 (9/10)

Great location, well connected to the city, clean, well equipped and friendly staff.

  • Overall good value and no-nonsense apartment. Ideal for work visits to Stutgart. Would book again. – Jilles from Germany – July 25, 2024 (9/10)

Good location in Feurbach; lots of restaurants around and a mega large Edeka a few hundred meters away and a smaller one even closer.

The room as AC, which is needed in the summer. Very quiet at night, which is great. The Kitchenette is smallish but it works.

What could be improved: Cleaning could be a bit more thorough. Especially the Kitchen. Also 1 toilet roll was not enough.

  • Overall was great value for money. Highly recommended – Lalatendu from India – November 24, 2023 (9/10)

The room is really clean, well located and offers self checking at anytime of the day after there checkin time

What could be improved: No microwave or or oven

  • Satisfied – Precious from Germany – November 23, 2023 (9/10)

Modern, clean, complete equipments, contactless transactions, near U-Bahn

What could be improved: Location was hard to find at night, can’t access the other entrance door near the elevator

  • Generally good, except the TV. – Edward from United Kingdom – August 18, 2023 (9/10)

    All facilities were acceptable.

What could be improved: The television was our main problem. I called and was told someone will come and sort it out. That didn’t happen. We couldn’t get the news. There are no instructions in the room giving direction in the use of the TV. If it required payment, then unfortunately it was not stated.

  • Very functional, clean, as advertised – Amy from Germany – November 19, 2024 (8/10)

Very spacious with everything I needed. Close to public transport. Easy check in (no contact FYI). Bed was comfortable

What could be improved: On of the shower heads wasn’t working (I assume it will get fixed soon). Sheets were not very soft.

  • Wonderful – Marta from Spain – September 13, 2024 (9/10)

The location and the little kitchen.
Also the bed was really comfortable.

What could be improved: It was not as clean as the first time we went there in Dec-23
