Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Motel One Stuttgart-Feuerbach on Heilbronner Straße, I wasn’t expecting much. The name “Motel One” had me thinking American roadside stop, but this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this clean, modern vibe that’s way more sophisticated than your typical budget chain, and the location – well, you’re right in Feuerbach, which I know sounds like you’re stuck in the suburbs, but hear me out.
The thing about staying here is you’re actually in a pretty sweet spot if you know Stuttgart at all. You’re not dealing with the chaos of the city center, but the S-Bahn connection is solid, so you can get downtown in maybe 15 minutes when you need to. Plus, there’s something refreshing about being in a neighborhood where actual locals live – you know, real bakeries, proper German restaurants that aren’t tourist traps, that sort of thing. The hotel itself has this minimalist design that works really well; the rooms are smallish but thoughtfully laid out (I mean, this is Germany, space is premium), and honestly, the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The lobby area doubles as a bar, and it’s got this relaxed atmosphere where you might actually want to hang out for a drink rather than just rushing through.
What really won me over was the attention to detail without trying too hard. The staff actually knows the area – when I asked about getting to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, they didn’t just point me to a taxi but explained the public transport route and mentioned which entrance to use. The shower pressure is excellent (you’d be amazed how many hotels mess this up), and there’s decent soundproofing, which matters because Heilbronner Straße can get a bit busy during the day. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, though you’ll pay extra for it – but that’s pretty standard for Stuttgart anyway. The breakfast is solid German hotel fare, nothing fancy but they do fresh bread rolls properly and the coffee doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since dawn. You know what impressed me most? The whole place just feels honest. It’s a 3-star hotel that knows exactly what it is and delivers on that promise without pretending to be something fancier. For the price point, especially in a city where accommodation can get pretty expensive, this place makes sense. You’re getting clean, comfortable, well-designed rooms in a location that works if you’re either exploring Stuttgart properly or if you’re here on business and don’t need to be right in the thick of things.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Stuttgart through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s unique blend of technology and tradition.

Reviews
Good comfortable stay and great location. – Gareth from Australia – July 27, 2025 (7/10)
Great location near the city and close to tram line stop (Siegelstrasse) with a short ride into the centre. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms nicely appointed. Parking on site and free. Staff very friendly and helpful
What could be improved: We debated having breakfast at the hotel but as a hot breakfast is not offered, we decided to eat in town. This is not a negative but would have been a little more convenient for our trip. Otherwise, a good comfy hotel and a safe bet!All good! – Alcibiades from Panama – July 2, 2025 (9/10)
Breakfast was good, the location isn't bad. Its 15 mins by tram to the Hbf
What could be improved: Nothing in particularWonderful – Jan from Czech Republic – June 19, 2025 (9/10)
In walking distance to few parks,
since I'm not German speaking person, staff knew English and all ended good,
bar in the hotel is one of the good ones in the area.
What could be improved: In room was missing small fridge, which I hoped for,
breakfast was good but bread was very hard and tough to eat.Very Good – Louise from France – June 8, 2025 (8/10)
Very comfortable bed and pillows
What could be improved: Whilst the bed was very comfortable, the room and the bathroom were rather on the small sizeFeedbach is well worth a visit – Joanne from United Kingdom – May 18, 2025 (8/10)
Friendly and helpful staff at reception ⭐️
Good location right next to a U-bahn stop. Located on a very busy main road but we couldn’t hear any traffic noise from our room.
Short walk to Feuerbach centre, lovely, brilliant microbrewery / restaurant called Wichtel which is a perfect place to eat with a great beer.Great place to stop over – Leah from United Kingdom – May 5, 2025 (8/10)
The room was lovely and clean. The room faced a busy road so had a lot of noise on Saturday night. The parking was just outside but the barrier was not working. Staff were amazing to help and give all support through the stay.
What could be improved: We missed a kettle within the room.Good value for money – Yulia from Germany – March 12, 2025 (9/10)
Great bar and lounge area, nice rooms, friendly staff
The perfect trip. – Abbott from United Kingdom – February 26, 2025 (8/10)
Hotel was great, perfect for just two of us. Everything was clean and the location was perfect. There’s a tram station right outside the entrance of the hotel, or there is one a 10 minute walk away. The only downside was the cost of breakfast, i did feel that it was a little overpriced for what it actually was. But other than that it was a 10/10.
Very Good – Csaba from Hungary – January 5, 2025 (8/10)
Overall, it is a good place to stay, breakfast and average impression are very good for this money.
What could be improved: Limited garage space, although outside to park is also possible.Wonderful – Cesar from United Kingdom – December 31, 2024 (9/10)
This room is cozy, well-sized, and thoughtfully equipped with everything two people might need for a comfortable stay.
